The 2004 Madrid train bombings (also known
in Spain as 11-M) were nearly simultaneous,
coordinated bombings against the
Cercanías commuter train system of Madrid,
Spain, on the morning of March 11, 2004.

The explosions killed 191 people and
wounded 1,800.

67 died at El Pozo Station.

64 died next to Téllez Street.

34 died at Atocha Station.

16 died at Santa Eugenia Station.

●
Madrid mobilized the emergency equipment;
improvised field hospitals to care for victims
and wounded in the street ; Rail traffic was
suspended on all lines from and to Madrid
● The Organization that caused this
tragedy was Yihaidistas.
6. The attackers were the jihaidist: a group that
struggled to defend islam.
