STATIC??? 
Static Identity 
My identity / image of self is based on :- 
– Qualifications and Awards 
– Power and Position 
– Past Achievement 
– Knowledge Gained
Let us see the examples of static 
identities. 
1. Now I am talking about X person who is my 
householder… 
• This X person has given room on rent who says, 
“I have given room on rent to girls there is nothing 
more to be done for them” 
• He is not helpful to the renters. He doesn’t care for 
their inconvenience. 
• He completes his part of work. He only concentrates 
on his own goals.
STATIC IDENTITY 
“I am ‘higher’ or ‘lower’ based on my position” 
Uncle , I need 
your help 
urgently…. 
You people think you 
can come in anytime 
like this… 
I am busy , don’t 
bother me now..
2. Now I am talking about Y person who is my 
roommate….. 
• This Y person who always says I am good at this work 
only, I can not do any other work. 
• I have got many prize in my school time. I was the 
best student in my class. 
• She is not much co-operative to the other roommate.
STATIC IDENTITY 
“I am useful only for my specialization” 
I have completed my part of 
work properly. I can hardly be 
of use in any other way. My 
duty is over. Now I am going….

How to identify that person is 
DAYNAMIC??? 
Dynamic Identity 
My identity / image of self is based on : – 
– The difference I can make to the world 
– The responsibility I carry 
– My future potential for contribution 
– My willingness to learn and grow
Let us see the example of Dynamic 
Identities 
• Now I am talking about Z person who is the 
professor of my college… 
• He is always ready to help the student. 
• He is always motivate the student to do something 
new. 
• He does a lot for the welfare of the collage and 
students.
DYANAMIC IDENTITY :- He sees oneself as a “learner” – 
where he is always willing to learn and grow. 
My 13 years of experience has 
taught me to be open to new 
developments in my field. I have so 
much to learn, especially from my 
younger colleagues in my field. So I 
make my students to know 
something new thinks..
• I observe a static identities , I can learn from 
them that static identity leaves you trapped in 
history… 
• I observe a dynamic identities , I can learn of 
them that it is based on your “being” and 
“becoming”. 
• Such an identity let’s choose to live a better 
future…
My personal learnings from this project, 
What to Do… 
• We should try to be a dynamic person… 
• Our specialization is only one such way of 
being useful… 
• We have an inner strength to take any 
challenges..

• We do not define our images as our 
qualifications and achievements we have got.. 
• We can do not only those things which we 
have done before..

Now I am talking about X person who is my householder… • This X person has given room on rent who says, “I have given room on rent to girls there is nothing more to be done for them” • He is not helpful to the renters. He doesn’t care for their inconvenience. • He completes his part of work. He only concentrates on his own goals.

  • 5. 2. Now I am talking about Y person who is my roommate….. • This Y person who always says I am good at this work only, I can not do any other work. • I have got many prize in my school time. I was the best student in my class. • She is not much co-operative to the other roommate.

  • 8. Let us see the example of Dynamic Identities • Now I am talking about Z person who is the professor of my college… • He is always ready to help the student. • He is always motivate the student to do something new. • He does a lot for the welfare of the collage and students.
  • 9. DYANAMIC IDENTITY :- He sees oneself as a “learner” – where he is always willing to learn and grow. My 13 years of experience has taught me to be open to new developments in my field. I have so much to learn, especially from my younger colleagues in my field. So I make my students to know something new thinks..
