ADVERT and SETTING
The settingis of the advertis outside ina field type environment,thistells us that the tea is made in
the country side.The settingwhichisusedisfilledwithlotsof people whichlook likethey are having
a party/ celebration together. They have filmed it during the day so there is lots of natural lighting
about. The advert is funky with lots going on which makes the advert interesting and fun, by them
doing this it makes it unique and different which will cause people to remember it.
CAMERAWORK
In the advertyoucan see thattheyare usinglotsof differenttype’s cameraangles/shots. They have
used close up shots of the tea being poured to show that the advert is about tea. They have also
used long distance shots to show what the whole scene looks like which also shows us what the
surroundingsare like,bythemdoingthisit gives us a better understanding of what it is like around
everything which is going on ad makes us more connected to it.
SOUND
There isconstant musicwhichrunsthroughoutthe advert;thismeansthatthere isn’ta dull moment
in the advert which makes us interested in what’s going on in the advert; there is a band which is
goingroundwhichisalso producingsound. There ishighandlow a pitchin the advertthisisbecause
theydon’twant the music to drain the other audio which is going on so this adds effect and makes
the advert better understandable.
LIGHTING
Theyare outside thismeansthatthere is a lot of natural lighting due to the fact that it is during the
day.But theyhave addeda bit more lightinginthere tomake itlook better as well as making it look
more interesting. In parts of the advert they are indoors but they have a white background which
makesthe cup of tea standout and not whateverisgoingoninthe background.Theyhave alsodone
this to make us look at the tea and nothing else.
PROPS/COSTUME
In the advertyoucan see thattheyare usingmanycostumesthroughoutthe advert.At the start you
can see that theyare wearingtea bags to show that this is a tea product. Also there is many people
inthe backgroundwhoare wearingtheirstandard cloths this is so they don’t stand out to much but
theyare there and it fills ups the scene. They have also used a van and a trailer in the advert this is
because itpromotesthere product even more and also gives the consumer a better understanding
of whatthe product is. Theyhave alsousedcostumessuchas the tea bag because it is different and
unique meaning that it hasn’t been done before so it make people remember it for how different
and interesting it is.
ACTORS/GESTURES
There are manyactors throughoutthe advertand you can see that some are dancing some are with
instrumentsandsome are juststandingaboutdrinkingteaandhavinga laugh. All of the actors used
are usingall differenttypesof gestures throughout this adds effect ad make sit intresting on whats
going on. There is many actors who are doing all different types of things to make the scene more
interesting.
VISUAL EFFECTS
In the advertthere are quite a fewvisual effectsbutthe mainone isthat youcan see thattheyhave
addedextralightinginthe toprightcorner to addto the scene and to make itlookbetter.There us
lotsof cutswhichblendinto the nextscene aswell,otherasthat itis all natural withnot many
effectstheyhave addedcutsbecause itisa advertsopit can’t be longso it’sgot to be short and
snappy.
