2.
3. • - The first and main item was my camera a Nikon
d 5100 a 24 megapixel full HD 1080p camera
filming quality which gave me a sharp and crisp
finish on the final production.
• The secondary equipment was the lenses, I used
a standard kit lens and a 35mm Nikon lens which
has a very short depth of filed which gives the
main focus on screen a very sharp and focused
look.
4. - I the post production I used a iMac and mac book
pro to edit all of my main production and also to
create and manage my posts.
What I have learned from this is mainly to do with
cameras and there lenses, when I first went into the
production my knowledge on the different type of
lenses and the effects you can create on screen was
relatively low, as I both gain accesses to the variety
of lenses and camera equipment it allowed me to
expand not only my knowledge but my experience
and confidence in using them.
5. • When it came to editing my opening there was a
variety of software’s I used to pull together and
complete my final production
•
• The first and main software I used was final cut
pro , I used this for all the basics such as chopping
and moving around my frottage. The end result
with this software was a film that had been
converted to black and whit and was arranged
and cut into the correct order.
6. • The second software I used was motion 5, this was the next
step from final cut pro. I used the program to add in all the
moving and stationary titles and the title of the film.
•
• As well as the main two there was also some other ones I
used which were garage band and iPhoto. I used iPhoto to
store and pick the best frottage from the rushes. I used
garage band to record and edited the voice over that is
heard in the beginning of my opening.
• What I leant and developed from creating my media
production of an opening to a film was mainly the
development of using motion 5 and final cut pro, I already
had a basic understanding and skill but I mainly learned
new shortcuts and features that all added to the editing
side of my post production.
•
7. • To present long bits of either analysis, evaluation or
information about what I have done over the year I
used many different online applications. I used
Prezi, storybored, scribd and slide share, all of this help
to present all my writing on the blog in a different and
more interesting way.
•
• To present my productions is used YouTube and
vimeo, this was so that not only could I present and
upload it on my blog I could also get feedback from
people of my production as I made the YouTube post
public.
8. • To promote my opening sequence I used web 2.0
which is social networking websites like twitter and
Facebook.
•
• Out of all of this I have mainly been more exposed and
able to develop the presentation side which was
though programmes and websites like like prize.
•
• Over all as well as developing already existing
applications to me I have been widely exposed and
able to develop new skills on a hole rang of different
software’s, programmes and online application, which
have been immensely helpful in the production of my
media project.
