Why would we work together?
Having lived and studied in 4 countries, I believe that our
cultural and ethnical identities are immensely important for
the environment we daily experience. The devil is in the
detail, and life is the in the routine, which has to be
performed in suitable for comfortable and efficient use
spaces. The ability to work in English, German, Spanish,
Ukrainian and Russian shapes my will to be a part of
international practice, to make the most use of my skills.
Having experience in liberal arts, especially mixed media
and oil painting creation, has formed my approach to
architectural design. Mixing the analogue and digital tools
to visualize and understand the idea, I still believe that the
core value of any project is communication. As a young
specialist, what I have is state-of-the-art skills to bring new
visions to life, and what I need is the opportunity to show
how qualified I am to do that.
4. ARTIST'S TOOLBOX
Residences for artists, located in Madrid,
Carabanchel district.
This project has started as a research about the
Carabanchel district in Madrid, and eventually
served as a theoretical base for the following
project - "The Fold", which is its second phase
within general framework. While the area and its
specialties were studied, necessity for temporary
artistic residences became obvious, as well as
the fact that main objectives of this project for
me are: flexibility, mobility and sustainability in
the use/re-use of materials, as well as designed
elements.
The essence here is pretty simple : Artist´s
Toolbox is a catalogue, with a set of elements
that can be assembled and re-arranged for three
different capacities : 3 residents, 2 residents, 1
resident + open studio space. Depending on
necessities of each of residents, different
exterior and interior components would be used,
with the possibility of easy replacement in the
future.

7. catalogue of components
Here you can check some of the samples of exterior and interior components, included in the catalogue. All of them were divided into four groups, to provide more sound
insulation or more sound resonance, more day light or more directed artificial light. The materials include : OSB panels, timber planks, corrugated metal sheets,
polycarbonate panels. Exterior components were designed to perform enclosure functions and be manufactured easily, but adding a more playful look to the
environment. On the other hand, interior components were directly inspired in different games, focusing on flexibility and compactness in space.

9. the fold
Multifunctional cultural center in Madrid,
Carabanchel district (40 °23´37´´N3°42´57´´W)
As mentioned above, this project is the second
phase of “The Artist´s Toolbox” development,
which is focused on designing a central hub for
the residents of Carabanchel. The main concepts
in this case were : functionality, creation of an
"icon" on a city scale, and theory of "The Fold" by
Gilles Deleuze. In the past years, Carabanchel
has developed a strong artistic identity, which
keeps evolving and needs more spaces to unfold
fully. The Fold consists of 11 independent blocks,
each designed as a flexible space to fit different
functions : temporary and permanent exhibition
spaces, workshops for artists and those willing to
learn, public library, cafeteria, offices and large
multifunctional space for hosting events. All of
the separate buildings are conceptually and
technically joined by a common roof, which
provides protection for consequentially created
"interior streets" piercing the center.

13. The (NEW) SPIRAL
A park located in Madrid, Carabanchel district,
occupying a plot that used to belong to a
prison and has been abandoned for years.
This park is designed to be both: the new public
recreational space at the local scale and the new
transport interconnection point at the city scale.
Carabanchel district has been developing swiftly
during last years, therefore with the
densification and diversification of its
population, new cultural needs arise. This
proposal includes exhibition spaces for large
scale sculptures, cafeteria, sports areas and
playgrounds above the ground level, as well as a
hidden passage leading to a museum, which
revolves in a spiral. This project includes a base
for the next stage of development: design of a
residential tower, integrated into the New Spiral
park. A 20-meter-wide ramp is thought to
connect first floor of the future tower with the
public open space, providing access to the
underground part and generating constant flow.

15. SEGMENT
Located in Madrid, Carabanchel district,
the Segment Residential Tower is
integrated into the New Spiral Park design.
The main challenge of this project was finding
balance between a high-rise residential building
and a spacious cultural public area that
surrounds it. Is it a tower in the park, or is it a
park around the tower? Design process started
with answering that and many more questions. I
believe, successful integration of two such
different typologies depends on the use of a
complementary approach.
Including 25 residential floors, 2 terraces and 3
floors of underground parking, Segment is the
example of a modern integrated residential
project. Its third floor is a terrace with public
access, which is interconnected with the park and
its underground exhibition spaces by a vast
ramp; its upper terrace is located on the twelfth
floor, providing best views to the park and
creating the highest viewpoint of the area.

18. CAMPUS - N
Location: Calle Tajo 28670,Villaviciosa de
Odón, Madrid, Spain
With the built surface of 2,788.851m2, this
project is combining a library with private and
public study spaces, an eating hall for the
students and a cafeteria. Mainly constructed with
timber modular structures and CLT floor panels,
buildings´ assembly process is designed to be
executed in 3 stages on site. Its basement and
kitchen areas are built with on-site poured
concrete (stage 1),due to safety factors of the
areas with high fire risks. The rest of the spaces
are arranged around a double-height
multifunctional patio that is supported but steel
space truss frames (stage 2). After last timber
modules are placed (stage 3), west, east and
south façades are enclosed with a light-weight
aluminum self-supporting sub-structure of a
micro super capacitor façade system.
This campus extension is an attempt to combine
programmatic versatility of space design with
modern sustainable construction technologies
and site-specific strategies.
