A systematic English–language literature review using PubMed was conducted. Searches included "etonogestrel implant and pregnancy," "etonogestrel
implant failure," "Implanon and pregnancy," and "Nexplanon and pregnancy." The literature revealed that pregnancy with concomitant use ofImplanon
and Nexplanon is extremely rare. A total of 4103 women–years, comprising over 53,000 treatment cycles, were included in the initial clinical trials
during Implanon development. There were no reported pregnancies during these trials leading to the resulting Pearl Index of 0.0 (95% CI, 0.0–0.9) (4).
In 2004, a postmarketing case series in Australia looking at unintended pregnancies with Implanon was published. This study compiled over 200
unintended pregnancies while Implanon was in use that were reported to the Australian Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee during the first
three years of marketing in that country. After excluding 91 women for reasons including insufficient data andpregnancy prior to Implanon insertion, a
total of 127 cases of Implanon failure resulting in pregnancy was observed. The authors of this study found that the most common reason for
unintended pregnancy was failure to insert the implant (84 cases). Following this were incorrect timing of insertion (19 cases), product failure (13

The Challenges For Students Today
Writing a research paper is one of the toughest challenges for students today. An obstacle to success is locating and navigating different databases
and making sure that research sources are credible and scholarly. We are lucky, in that CSU Global Library has given its students access to several
different databases, therefore, making it easier to navigate vast amounts of information. I found two different databases that will be helpful with my
two areas of interest, healthcare management and clinical research. The first database is EBSCO. It is a database with a broad range of topics. It
includes information on health care, corporations, business, government and includes links to public libraries as well as links to information that will
be helpful for K–12 students. The second database is PubMed. Where EBSCO was a database filled with information on a broad range of topics,
PubMed is streamlined and contains information on biomedical sciences. PubMed contains over 26 million citations from biomedical literature,
MEDLINE, books and scientific journals. EBSCO Search Engine When starting at the CSU Global Library's main page, EBSCO's first search
results cannot be reduced. It is a simple word or topic search, but once a general topic is entered a better defined search can begin. The database
allows you to use multiple topic expanders and limiters, therefore, narrowing down the information you are searching. Students can search for full text

Over the past year political momentum has grown for strong action to tackle childhood obesity and there is an emerging consensus that regulation of
food advertising to children is both necessary and achievable. A key factor in this debate has been the publication of the Food Standards Agency 's
(FSA) review of research into the link between food promotion and eating behaviour in children, undertaken by Professor Gerard Hastings and
colleagues at the University of Strathclyde.2 Though the findings are heavily qualified, the authors conclude that advertising to children does have an
adverse effect on food preferences, purchasing behaviour and consumption. Comment in the media was less ambivalent: the report was taken as clear

thousands of people annually, and can lead to greater complications such as heart disease and stroke. Diabetes is initially caused by the imbalance
of glucose in the body. Glucose is a sugar that the body's cells need in order to survive (PubMed 2012). It provides it with the energy necessary to
allow the body to function on a day to day basis. Different factors lead to the uncontrollable nature of glucose that defines diabetes. In Type I
Diabetes, the body does not have the ability to produce insulin. Insulin is a hormone secreted from an organ called the pancreas which acts as a
receptor on individual cells. This receptor allows for the glucose to enter the cells and provide it with the energy necessary to survive. When there is
not enough insulin, then glucose does not enter the cells, and instead stays in the bloodstream. Artificial insulin shots need to be administered to
individuals with Type I Diabetes in order to allow the glucose in their system to enter their cells where they need it (PubMed 2012). Another type of

As of 2013, there were 97 countries with sustained malaria transmission, and 7 countries in prevention of the reintroduction phase, making a total of

deaths (77%) occurred in children under the age of 5 3,7,10,15,23,24. The burden faced in Sub–Saharan Africa continues to be a challenge for national
governments. Increasing resistance to drugs and pesticides, the lack of capacity to implement programs effectively and low public education about

The first word that comes to mind when I think of searching for answers to a PICO question related to the physical therapy that I use in my clinic is
"frustration". This week we were to use PubMed to search for research that pertained to two of our PICO questions. We explored PubMed in the
foundations class last semester. The only previous use of PubMed may have been through articles found in Google Scholar. Finding keywords was not
difficult and my schedule allowed enough time for the search. Filters beyond "full text" "human" and "review" led to zero articles found. One to three
filters brought up one to twelve articles and at the most seventy. This may be because from evaluating the PubMed research it appeared more common
to pair exercise with fibromyalgia or ankylosing spondylitis than manual or craniosacral therapy.
The frustration came in finding articles that fit the keywords craniosacral and manual therapy. I noticed that if a study wanted to prove the efficacy of
using one drug, one piece of equipment over another, or if the intervention was a tried and true modality for physical therapy, the studies were

I changed the search words to Lactobacillus, diarrhea, and antibiotics and applied the same limiters, but it did not generate any further significant
articles. Google Scholar was the final database searched. There are only a few search filters that can be applied in this database (Polit & Beck,
2017). The search words that were used were probiotics, diarrhea, and antibiotics adults. The Boolean "AND" was in the search bar, and the limiter of
2013–present. This search generated 9,900 articles. A disadvantage of Google Scholar is the inability to apply search filters and the reference list
is according to the number of times the article is referenced (Polit & Beck, 2017). I manually scrolled through the articles and I found one additional
RCT that fit my search criteria for best evidence. Selection of Best Evidence The selection criteria I utilized was based on sticking to the key PICO
