Students should have a part-time job
Many students wonder whether they should have a part time job or
not. what do you think about this? Do you think students have a part
time job is good ? If you do, you are not alone, because today I support
that students should have a part time job for 3 reasons: 1 they can earn
extra money.2 they will have work experiences. 3 they can improve
communication skills
Let start with the 1 reason: they can earn extra money by themselves
Students have to pay for many things such as rent , food,
transportation, learning materials…By working a part time job, students
can earn some money to pay for many things by themselves and less
depend on their family’s budget. Not only having enough money for
daily need, students can use money they earn in case they are in need.
moreover students also know well how to use their money efficiently
when they have a job. Many students encounter with hardships while
working. As a result, they learn the value of money and they realize
how hard it is to make just small sum of money by their own. for
example I have a friend. He has worked as a waiter in a food stall for
several months. Before he began this job he wished to have a smart
phone but didn’t have enough money. He intended to work several
months to get the money. However, when he got the money already,
he changed his mind. Instead of buying the phone as he wished, he
eput it into saving. He said “I do not want to spend the money on such
a thing when I had worked so hard to get it.
Earning extra money, what next? yes we move to the 2 reason
students can have work experiences
While working a part-time job students will have more useful
experience. Students who have more experience can find a job easier in
the future because nowadays, many employers tend to hire employees
who have experience . if a student can find a job that has things related
to their lessons in school, they can apply what they learn in books to
real tasks. they can have more experience in dealing with problems or
difficulties during their part time job and learn good things from others.
For example, a part time job as a tutor provides students with many
necessary skills to be teachers in future; students working as sale
assistants not only know about the way to sell many products but also
learn the method of managing and controlling the business from their
bosses. students also know how to manage their time efficiently
now let me explain the third reason having a part time job help
students improve communicating skills
by working students have chance to know and communicate with
many people.it will be very good for students. When contact with many
people they feel more confident when standing in front of crowd and
their communicating skills also gets ahead. for example working as a
seller or waiter in restaurants, shops they will meet and communicate
with a lot people. Besides, when they work in places that serve
foreigners also provides students with practical language skills when
are interpreters.by working, they also expand their relationship and
have more friends.
In conclusion, I have mentioned 3 reasons why students should have a
part time job 1… 2… 3... having a part time job brings many benefits.so I
think students have a part time job is really a good idea.
