6. 6. Necessary Skills

Listening skills

Working in Teams

Problem Solving skills

Time Management Skills

Communication skills (Speaking)

 7. 7. Listening Skills

Having listening skills is important for a physical education teacher because if someone has a question about the game you need to make sure you give them the right answer.

 8. 8. Working in Teams

Working in teams is a very important feature of being a physical education teacher because when you assign the students team games, they must get in teams and work together. They must work together to try and win the game that they are playing.

 9. 9. Problem Solving Skills

Having problem solving skills is very important for being a physical education teacher because if someone doesn’t understand an activity that the class is doing, you must explain it to them and help them solve their problem. Although they should have been paying attention, some students may get distracted and not know what they are doing. In this case you must explain the activity to them or you must tell them to ask someone else for the directions.

 10. 10. Time Management Skills

Having time management skills is important for becoming a physical education teacher because you need to keep track of how much time you have left in the class. Also, if you are teaching a middle or high school class you have to know how much time is left in the period so that you could give the students enough time to get changed. If u let the students out to late, they might get to their next class late.

 11. 11. Communication Skills (Speaking)

Having communication skills is important for being a physical education teacher because you need to explain different games or activities to the class. If you do not explain it properly then the students may be confused, which could lead to problems. Speaking to the class is the best skill a physical education teacher should have because if the teacher can’t explain something then the students will not understand how to play, which would make you a bad teacher.

 12. 12. Summary of Job

A typical day of being a physical education teacher is waking up, going to the school and then explaining to the students what activity they are going to do.
