2. Step 1. Prepare for the empathy
work
The profile chosen for the survey were that of a college student who is mid-career
in order to complete their studies. In this situation you find that you can not stay
in school if you get a small source of income. Also can not spend too much time at
work because otherwise extend his stay at the university. For that reason, I would
be interested in finding a job that suits well to your circumstances.
3. Step 2. Go out and talk to people.
In this step, I spent an hour working time to interview a third-year student at
the Faculty of Chemistry and a fourth student of the Faculty of Education. The
talk was informal and relaxed, I didn´t use any recording device only blog notes.
4. I need money.

Empathy Map
5. STAKEHOLDER needs a way to ________(PROBLEM/NEED)____ Because ____(INSIGHT)__
Stakeholders. In this case they are people with great commitment and a great
ambition to achieve his career end sooner or later. For that reason whatever to
accept to finish their studies. The 5 adjectives that these people choose to be:
Constants, Ambitious, Energetic, Curious and autonomous.
Problem / Need. The main problem with these students is the lack of money, but in
turn also want to end his career as quickly as possible. They need to work on non-
school hours or not fixed and flexible schedules.
Insight. Among the discoveries of interesting ideas, is the ability to create networks
similar students with similar capabilities. The idea is to be organize as a network of
casual workers, among them, that gives them flexibility to work for hours. Thus, they
would be the main stakeholders to work well without having to ask favors from the
companies.
Problem Statement
7. 3 Best Ideas
1. Encourage work that is planned well in advance to facilitate the process to students.
In this case it is charged to all students work, in some way, can be grouped or divided into well-
defined work packages and estimated in terms of runtime. This way you can better plan the
dates on which students can contribute more time and concentration to work. The main
problem for students is that in certain periods have much time available to the company and in
other periods have virtually no free time.
2. Having a public rating system managers that punctuate the work of students.
For students who have interviewed, many do not think their first practice firm is the company of
your life, so do not think of trying too hard, because the true managers of companies are not
going to have much esteem. However, if there was a public ranking, with clear rules for
participation, many of them think it would be more worthwhile to work a little more.
3. Try the tutor company also has a compensation if the student's work goes well.
This proposal is the most disruptive. In conversations I've had with some students have told me
that attending business practices with skepticism because they believe that however much they
work or propose good ideas their efforts will not be rewarded. Added to this is that for their
proposals or ideas get ahead need a certain degree of commitment and loyalty of other
employees perhaps for this reason, I believe that if you engage in the process to a domestic
worker of the company's results would be much best.
