INTRODUCTION
Stating ideas involves plenty of considerations when it comes to
message delivery especially in the written form where every word said
can be reviewed and assessed. Sometimes, what we want to say may
come out differently depending on the words used, arrangement of the
writing, and simple punctuations and capitalizations. Hence, the need for
editing and rephrasing may come in handy for our true message to be
delivered flawlessly.

Vocabulary:
Mechanics
In composition, writing mechanics are the
conventions governing the technical aspects
of writing,
including spelling, punctuation, capitalization,
and abbreviations.
Vocabulary:
Logical
The writing skill of 'logical flow' can be
defined as all the aspects of your writing
that help the reader move smoothly from
one sentence to the next, and one
paragraph to another.
Vocabulary:
Composition
In the literary sense, a composition
(from the Latin word componere
which means "to put together") is the
way a writer assembles words and
sentences to create a coherent and
meaningful work.
Compositions are evaluated in the
following areas:

First, most people in other countries somehow know this language.
Though people cannot speak English fluently, say in Brazil, some words
can be understood thanks to English movies, magazines, and signages
that they saw.
The English language is still the most widely used language in the

Although there are some big contenders that threaten this spot like
Mandarin and
Spanish, we should also keep up by strengthening our English tongue.
Most students still fear the English language. Some are afraid to
speak the language, some have trouble writing in English. Though being
the second language in the Philippines, there may be several
advantages that one should strive for in being fluent in the language.

Problems of Internet
On an individual level, the internet can cause a lot of problems-one of the
most significant being procrastination. Procrastination is the habit of postponing
a task indefinitely. Social Media platforms such as Facebook and other similar
sites, are to be blamed as it is easy to get sucked into them. countless hours
could disappear if the user does not keep track of time.
However, the internet is not all bad. There are many other things that you
can learn. For instance, a technical subject such as Physics can be better
understood through the help of videos. Abstract subjects such as Mathematics
are understood better through the help of websites and forums dedicated to
explain the concepts better.
In conclusion, the Internet is like a double -edged sword. It can be a great
boon if used in the right way. It provides valuable knowledge and resources to
better yourself. However, it can also be easy to distract yourself and waste
countless hours of your time.

  • 75. Problems of Internet On an individual level, the internet can cause a lot of problems-one of the most significant being procrastination. Procrastination is the habit of postponing a task indefinitely. Social Media platforms such as Facebook and other similar sites, are to be blamed as it is easy to get sucked into them. countless hours could disappear if the user does not keep track of time. However, the internet is not all bad. There are many other things that you can learn. For instance, a technical subject such as Physics can be better understood through the help of videos. Abstract subjects such as Mathematics are understood better through the help of websites and forums dedicated to explain the concepts better. In conclusion, the Internet is like a double -edged sword. It can be a great boon if used in the right way. It provides valuable knowledge and resources to better yourself. However, it can also be easy to distract yourself and waste countless hours of your time.

Editor's Notes

  1. I will show you different signages and we will try to figure out its content and message. We have here the first example. Who wants to read? Thank you. Who wants to say something about the signage? What does it tell us? What does it mean?
  2. How about this one? Is the signage correct? Or Does it cause confusion to you?
  3. How about this example?
  4. In the video it is a must for us to be consistent in our writing.
  5. Grammar is the foundation of communication and makes our writing clearer and easier to be understood. It is not only what is said is important but also how and how well.
  6. In the new normal we are given the opportunity to explore and learn many mobile websites that can easily help us make well written compositions. But, it is a must that we know the atleast the basic rules of mechanics in writing.
  7. Structure is how the story is organized. It is the framework of the story. You can think of structure as the outline of the story or the map of its construction. When an author writes a story, he or she begins with a framework of the story.
  8. Never make a one sentence paragraph.
  9. What did you observe? Indentions of the first word of the first sentence in the paragraph. Used transitional words such as first, second and lastly. There is a logical arrangement of the sentences. If no time proceed to slide number 65.
  10. I will give each of you a copy of our LAS for today’s lesson and you are going to answer practice tasks no. 1-3. You can either submit or answer through a google form if you can not submit for some reasons. I will just send you the link in our GC.
  11. For the assessment, you can either submit or send your outputs by messenger, email or text message.
