Why dyKnow?


1.   All students must participate during class on
     every problem.

2. I can give individual feedback to each student on
   every problem and the other students can benefit
   from the information.

3.     The on-task time is greatly increased.

4. The students must show their work publicly – I
   can collect the slides anonymously, but some
   stress is good.

5. Students have a great set of class notes
especially if a student is absent.

6. You can block out other programs except what
you want the students to access.

7.   Planning for the class is easy – I am able to
     prepare my slides ahead of class
8. In Geometry, I can copy complicated diagrams
     into dyKnow

  9.   What are the comparisons to One-Note?




  1. Screen (not the page) is too small for very
complicated items -- (Trig example)

  2.   Using dyKnow in three of my classes -- too slow
       and insufficient visual space for my honors
       courses. I can only do one problem per page.

  3. Functioning computer issues
