5. Flanders Field
• Flanders field (in Gallipoli) is were they
fought. the field smelt when a lot of men
died so they let each other side bury their
died from seven in the morning to four
thirty in the afternoon.
6. Poppy
• The Poppy was located in Flanders field and
is the symbol of all the soldiers that fought
for our freedom today.
7. Ceremonies
• Nowadays on April 25th it is a public
holiday. There are ceremonies on that day
remembering the soldiers that died in that
war.
