Environmental pollution can be defined as any
undesirable change in physical , chemical or biological
characteristics of any component of the environment
i.e. air, water, soil and sound which can cause harmful
effect on various form of life or property
Pollution:- The term pollution can be defined as
influence of any substance causing nuisance, harmful
effects, and uneasiness to the organism.
Pollutant:- Any substance causing Nuisance or
harmful effect or uneasiness to the organism, than that
particular substance may be called as the pollutant.

To find out the term of pollution and pollutant.
To Study the sources of pollution and harmful
effects.
To Study the causes and control of pollution.
To Study the needs and forms of the pollution.
5. Scope Of The Study
Natural resources: natural resources such as forest contribute
towards maintaining a balance in the environment. Therefor,
managing and maintenance of forest and wildlife is an important
task under natural resource conservation.
Environmental pollution control: with the knowledge of
environment sciences, one can look methods to control pollution
and mange waste effectively.
Environmental management: there are several independent
environmental consultants working with central and state pollution
control boards.
Research and development: with an increase in public
awareness in regarding environmental issues, there is tremendous
scope for research and development in this field. Various
universities and governmental organizations offer avenues for such
research.
Social development: non-governmental organization(NGOs) help
in creating awareness regarding the protection of the environment.
6. Research Methodology
Researcher carried out field visit sand conducted
observations concern deforestation in India. The
researcher is involved to collect data when he was
working voluntarily in the environment field Literary
reviews are selected as a research methodology to
collect secondary data for this research. Magazines,
scientific journals, books, newspapers and other journal
