2. Abstract
To improve the way of Cleaning the city.
Estimate the amount of garbage without any
involvement of the truck driver.
Through sensors the level of garbage are
identified and compressed automatically.
If the garbage gets full, then the information is
send to the control station using GSM.
3. Existing system
The level of garbage is unknown.
The garbage is not compressed
automatically.
If the garbage was overflowing,then
manual complaints is to be provided to
control station.
4. Proposed system
Monitoring and Controlling are done by
using Solar Panel.
We know the level of garbage by using
level sensor.
Then the garbage is compressed using
motor.
If the garbage gets full, then
automatically complaints are send to
the control station.
9. ADC
An ADC may also
provide an isolated
measurement, such as
an electronic device, that
converts an input
analog voltage or current
to a digital number
proportional to the
magnitude of the voltage
or current.
10. Relays are used where it is necessary to
control a circuit.
A relay is an electro-mechanical switch.
Most of the relays uses electromagnet to
mechanically operate a switch.
When an electric current is passed through
the coil it generates a magnetic field which
in turn close the contacts.

11. DRIVER CIRCUIT
A Driver is an electrical circuit or
electronic component used to control
another circuit.
They are usually used to regulate the
current flowing through a circuit.
Here driver circuit is used to drive the DC
motor whenever the relay switch conducts
a current.
12. • It is used to indicate the
level.
• We are using 4 level
sensors at 4 different
levels.
• Sensor 1 at level 25% of
bin.
• Sensor 2 at level 50% of
bin.
• Sensor 3 & 4 at level 100%
of bin.

STATUS DISPLAY DESCRIPTION
1 LESS 25%
Garbage is less than level
25% low.
2 LOW 25 % Garbage is in level 25% low.
3 MID 50 % Garbage is in level 50% mid.
4 HIGH 100 %
Garbage is in level 100%
high. The information will
be given to the corporation.
16. CONCLUSION
Garbage monitoring system has been successfully
implemented with the integration of communication
technologies such as GSM and truck monitoring system.
The proposed system would be able to monitor the
solid waste collection process and managing the
overall collection process.
This technique would overcome all the disadvantages
by providing low fuel use and clean environment .
