A transponder is an implanted biochip that consists of four main parts: a computer microchip, antenna coil, tuning capacitor, and glass capsule. It senses biological events and translates them into a format readable by a computer through transduction, which allows for additional analysis and processing to produce a final output understandable to humans.

complete analysis system.

9. Transduction must be done to translate the actual sensing event
(DNA binding, oxidation/reduction, etc.) into a format
understandable by a computer (voltage, light intensity, mass, etc.),
which then enables additional analysis and processing to produce a
final, human-readable output.
