Following the merger of Northern States Power and New Century Energies, Xcel Energy required a leader with the
talent to integrate and lead a new staffing organization with the combined capabilities of workforce planning,
recruitment, and selection.
Integrated and led two newly merged staffing departments to deliver enterprise-wide workforce planning,
recruitment and selection processes leveraging new technologies, and delivering a workforce forecast and planning
model to effectively address an upcoming workforce retirement issue.
▪ Led the development and implementation of a applicant tracking system, developed in-house and integrated
with PeopleSoft HRIS.
