● Led in the sourcing and negotiation of the insurance programs. Plans included directors’ and officers’
  liabilities, professional industry, buildings/construction and contents, as well as all personnel
  related insurance.

Recruitment, Retention & Employee Services
● Successfully established HR standards for (Global Growth) aligning law and tax compliance issues.
  Partnered with leading executive search providers to assist in positioning key leadership talent in each
  region and implementing pioneering innovations in outsourcing, university partnerships and on-line
  sourcing. Recruitment operations encompassed the hiring of 3 to 5 thousand employees annually.
● Researched and negotiated outsourcing partnerships for critical training needs which successfully
  streamlined internal costs and enhanced overall capabilities. Delivered new graduate recruitment and
  training programs, management training, sales effectiveness training and launched the first executive
  coaching initiative in 7 billion division with 38,000 associates.

Mergers & Acquisitions
● Integral part of numerous executive leadership committees assessing potential acquisition opportunities,
  conducting due diligence and recommending “buy/no buy” decisions. Actively participated in
  negotiations for and analysis of acquisitions and divestures for (Global and New Business Growth).
  Provided expertise in integration of human resources, HRIS, employment law and tax incentives for

issues and initiatives to ensure company goals are attained. Responsible for establishing strong strategic
relationships with client companies through the development, implementation, and project leadership of
human resource services which enable client companies to achieve HR objectives.

 AMB Group LLC – Atlanta, GA                                                 2005-2007
A holding company for the diversified business and investment assets of Arthur M. Blank including the
Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Force, Mountain Sky Ranch, and several smaller entities within the retail and
hospitality industry.
Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness
Provided strategic human resource leadership and support to 7 subsidiaries and 1 non-profit foundation, and
oversaw 300 associates. Reported into the Chairman & CEO and worked closely with the senior leadership

Vice President of Human Resources, Home Depot Supply, Home Depot New Growth Business Division /
EXPO Design, (2001-2004)
Led a team comprised of 8,000 associates and oversaw Human Resource services for 9 subsidiary business
units and 15 internal Greenfield start-ups representing $2.5 billion in combined revenue for the Home
Depot Supply Business, a division of The Home Depot which distributes products and offers services to
builders, contractors, government entities, industrial businesses and maintenance professionals. Reported
into the Executive Vice President of Home Depot Supply and the Executive Vice President of The Home
Depot. Consulted with the Division President on all matters including operations, finance, public relations,
internal communications and new business development.
     • Provided integration and due diligence for 10 global company acquisitions.
     • Created the 1st shared services organization by leveraging synergies from existing operations.


Vice President of Human Resources, Home Depot International Division / EXPO Design Center /
Corporate Functions (2000-2002)
Responsible for leading a HR team of 25,000 associates and a staff of 90 to support the combined business
units representing approximately $3 billion in revenue. Reported into the Group President of International
Division, President of EXPO Design Center and Executive Vice President of Human Resources, directly
contributing to the achievement of the divisions’ business objectives through the development and
implementation of talent initiatives.
     • Overall responsibility for the Home Depot International division’s International Human Resources
         / Global Sourcing & Logistics functions having direct impact on the attainment of the division’s
         goals.
     • Assisted the President, Home Depot International on all HR related matters.
     • Provided HR direction and coaching to the Home Depot International senior management team
         and HR team.
     • Guided and consulted management teams in each new international market by developing and
         monitoring programs and processes, in the context of the Employer of Choice framework, to
         ensure effective country HR management and facilitate a share of best practices.
•   Served as chief strategist in designing the divisions’ organizations including staffing, full
        succession implementation, enhanced learning and development offerings, and improved
        performance management systems.
    •   Further developed the global remuneration strategy, encapsulating a market related reward
        structure which adequately supported recruitment and retention, motivated long and short-term
        performance oriented delivery, and complied with best practices.
    •   Provided full HR support to 4500 person corporate office across all corporate functions including
        Finance, Legal, HR, IS, Real Estate, Purchasing, Maintenance, Credit and Strategic Business.
    •   Served as key contributor in due diligence process and negotiations for acquisitions and
        Greenfield market entry.


Vice President of Human Resources, Southeast & Southern Division – Tampa FL (1996-2000)
Promoted to develop and direct the region’s HR strategy and processes, focusing on the implementation of
effective infrastructure across 11 geographically distinct states and Puerto Rico. Led all facets of HR to
support the growth objectives, opportunities and strategies for this division, encompassing 225 stores with
38,000 associates, representing $7 billion in revenue. Directly managed a staff of 45 associates and
reported into the Division President and Executive Vice President of HR. Provided expertise to the
division in recruiting and staffing, compensation, benefits, executive development, and employee relations.
     • Transitioned southeast region into 2 functionally supported divisions.
     • Lead successful integration of The Home Depot’s processes, policies and recruitment into Puerto
         Rico.
     • Initiated gap analysis focusing on organizational and individual competencies. Identified specific
         needs and structured processes in recruitment, performance management, training and
         development to fill these gaps.
     • Integrated human capital planning as a formal part of the company’s business planning process.
