Lesson 1
Throughout this lesson we were introduced to what coursework and task we have to
complete for this section of our AS grade. For this specific task I was requested to
complete and show a comprehensive understanding of a music magazines front
cover, content page and double page spread, this mainly consists of analysing
secondary sources. Furthermore we were asked to create our own music magazine
which consists of a front cover, content page and double page spread. In addition we
had to chose our own genre for this purpose. Moreover we were requested to create a
blogger which we would up load each of our work on to for our teacher to mark and
give feedback on.
Lesson 2
Throughout this lesson we were mind mapping our ideas and thoughts individually in
relation to what we would like to name our music magazine and a pencil drawing
sketch of what we have in mind.
Lesson 3
Throughout this lesson I attempted to refresh key skills that I have demonstrated in
GCSE year 10 and 11 via the editing software Photoshop. Moreover I created two A4
Photoshop blank canvases for my front cover and content page and one A3 blank
canvas for my double page spread.
Lesson 4
During this lesson I used my time to take photographs of my model which I chose to
be my friend as he look like someone similar to someone I wanted for my front cover
for the purpose of a RnB/Pop music magazine. I successfully lots of pictures which
made me think hard on which one I would like to choose.
Lesson 5
Throughout this lesson I made a confident start to my front cover and added my
chosen image and started to crop it out.

Throughout these lessons I was completing my front cover music magazine and at the
end of lesson 9 I managed to successfully complete my first draft and uploaded it via
blogger for my teacher to mark and give me feedback so I can alter the changes.

During this lesson I was attempting to make a start to my content page which I
successfully did and continued throughout the lesson adding images and text.

Throughout these lessons I was completing my content page for my music magazine
and at the end of lesson 13 I managed to successfully complete my first draft and
uploaded it via blogger for my teacher to mark and give me feedback so I can alter
the changes.
Lesson 14
During this lesson I started to write up my interview question along with the
responses for my double page spread, throughout the lesson I was getting constant
feedback from my teacher so it only took me that lesson to complete my interview
questions for my double page spread.
Lesson 15
During this lesson I was attempting to make a start to my double page spread which I
successfully did and continued throughout the lesson adding images and text.

As I spent a bit more time creating my front cover music magazine I had to make up
the time by completing additional work in my personal time, with the help of extra
hours at home I managed to finish my double page spread and submitted it via
blogger for my teacher to mark and give me feedback.
Lesson 18
During this lesson the whole class was given a check list which consists of all
additional research and planning we needed to complete. Throughout this lesson I
was completing part of the check list by checking whether I had the research and
planning documents for my music magazine.
Lesson 19
Throughout this lesson I managed to make a start to the outstanding coursework that
is needed in order to complete my coursework overall.

Throughout these lessons I was in the process of completing outstanding work for my
section of coursework.
Lesson 23 (onwards)
From lesson 23 till now I am making last minute amendments and uploading them
via blogger for my teacher to mark and assess.

Lesson 2 Throughout this lesson we were mind mapping our ideas and thoughts individually in relation to what we would like to name our music magazine and a pencil drawing sketch of what we have in mind. Lesson 3 Throughout this lesson I attempted to refresh key skills that I have demonstrated in GCSE year 10 and 11 via the editing software Photoshop. Moreover I created two A4 Photoshop blank canvases for my front cover and content page and one A3 blank canvas for my double page spread.

Lesson 4 During this lesson I used my time to take photographs of my model which I chose to be my friend as he look like someone similar to someone I wanted for my front cover for the purpose of a RnB/Pop music magazine. I successfully lots of pictures which made me think hard on which one I would like to choose. Lesson 5 Throughout this lesson I made a confident start to my front cover and added my chosen image and started to crop it out. Lesson 6 Lesson 7 Lesson 8 Lesson 9 Throughout these lessons I was completing my front cover music magazine and at the end of lesson 9 I managed to successfully complete my first draft and uploaded it via blogger for my teacher to mark and give me feedback so I can alter the changes.
  • 4. Lesson 10 During this lesson I was attempting to make a start to my content page which I successfully did and continued throughout the lesson adding images and text. Lesson 11 Lesson 12 Lesson 13 Throughout these lessons I was completing my content page for my music magazine and at the end of lesson 13 I managed to successfully complete my first draft and uploaded it via blogger for my teacher to mark and give me feedback so I can alter the changes. Lesson 14 During this lesson I started to write up my interview question along with the responses for my double page spread, throughout the lesson I was getting constant feedback from my teacher so it only took me that lesson to complete my interview questions for my double page spread.
  • 5. Lesson 15 During this lesson I was attempting to make a start to my double page spread which I successfully did and continued throughout the lesson adding images and text. Lesson 16 Lesson 17 As I spent a bit more time creating my front cover music magazine I had to make up the time by completing additional work in my personal time, with the help of extra hours at home I managed to finish my double page spread and submitted it via blogger for my teacher to mark and give me feedback. Lesson 18 During this lesson the whole class was given a check list which consists of all additional research and planning we needed to complete. Throughout this lesson I was completing part of the check list by checking whether I had the research and planning documents for my music magazine.
  • 6. Lesson 19 Throughout this lesson I managed to make a start to the outstanding coursework that is needed in order to complete my coursework overall. Lesson 20 Lesson 21 Lesson 22 Throughout these lessons I was in the process of completing outstanding work for my section of coursework. Lesson 23 (onwards) From lesson 23 till now I am making last minute amendments and uploading them via blogger for my teacher to mark and assess.
