There are several other causes of road traffic accidents which are responsible for road traffic accidents, but I have highlighted some of the most prominent ones. Observing traffic laws is very essential to prevent yourself from accidents, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that mishaps won’t happen. It is advisable to have yourself under insurance to save your loved ones in a tragedy like road accidents. It is also very important to go to driving school to learn proper driving and get a driving license. Doing so will reduce the number of car crashes happen each year.

Researchers in the Texas A&M Transportation Institute’s (TTI’s)
Human Factors Program are working to better understand
the dangers associated with distracted driving, with the goal of developing more effective countermeasures. Distracted driving is a growing problem throughout the nation, and the use of cell phones is recognized as one of the chief causes of driver distraction. Although many states have enacted bans on texting while driving — and considerable resources are devoted to anti-texting public service campaigns — the texting while-driving problem continues to create dangerous conditions for roadway users.
Buying a car entails a cost, not counting the day to day high price tag of gasoline. People are looking for viable means of transportation that is cost-effective and can move its way through traffic faster. In the Philippines, motorcycle was the answer to most people transportation needs. With the increasing number of a motorcycle rider in the Philippines safety is the utmost concern. Today technology plays a huge role on how this safety can be assured. We now see advances in connected devices. Devices can sense its surrounding through sensor attach to it. With this in mind, this study focuses on the development of a wearable device named Smart Motorcycle Helmet or simply Smart Helmet, whose main objective is to help motorcycle rider in times of emergency. Utilizing sensors such as alcohol level detector, crash/impact sensor, Internet connection thru 3G, accelerometer, Short Message Service (SMS) and cloud computing infrastructure connected to a Raspberry Pi Zero-W and integrating a separate Arduino board for the antitheft tracking module is used to develop the propose Internet-of Things (IoT) device. Using quantitative method and descriptive type research, the researchers validated the results from the inputs of the participant who tested the smart helmet during the alpha and beta testing process. Taking into account the ethical consideration of the volunteers, who will test the Smart Helmet. To ensure the reliability of the beta and alpha testing, ISO 25010 quality model was used for the assessment focusing on the device accuracy, efficiency and functionality. Based on the inputs and results gathered, the proposed Smart Helmet IoT device can be used as a tool in helping a motorcycle rider when an accident happens to inform the first-responder of the accident location and informing the family of the motorcycle rider.

A Mobile Based Application for Journey SafetyIOSRjournaljce
Journey is an inseparable part of human life which is responsible for human civilization development.Worldwide a large portion of population daily travel for work, shopping, social reasons and many other purposes. Nowadays road accidents, hijacking, robbery, snatching, trap of fraud parties have increased in such a level that people are always concerned about the security and safety of life as well as property during journey. In maximum cases vehicle drivers are found involved with these incidents and victims can’t complain to the related authority due to the lack of evidence. Also law enforcement agencies is unable to take proper action against these crimes due to the scarcity of adequate information. Women empowerment and their development is also lagging behind because of insecurity. In past few decades uses of mobile phones has increased enormously. Due to the rapid growth of mobile technology, smartphones are equipped with features likesensors, GPS navigation, digital camera, high speed internet connectivity and many more. Using these sophisticated features of smartphones, an application can be developed to overcome these problems of people and provide safety. Aim of this paper is to design a mobile application called ‘Journey Safety’ to overcome dangers mentioned above during journey and ensure complete safety.

Omlis Data Breaches Report - An Inside Perspective Omlis
The rise in digital and mobile financial services has introduced an onset of increased data breaches over the last few years. The digital revolution has undermined the traditional framework used to regulate financial institutions, which has led to areas of vulnerability within their security systems.
In the report, Data Breaches: An Inside Perspective, Omlis conducted in-depth interviews with experienced cyber security professionals to understand why TFIs (traditional financial institutions) aren't adequately addressing security weaknesses.
In our research, the discussions centered on the types of security systems employed by TFIs, personal and industry-wide attitudes to security, and the types of security measures used to prevent breaches.
The findings indicate that TFIs current preference towards technology creates an increasingly complex system with associated vulnerabilities and ultimately it requires greater manual input for maintenance and updates.
There are also issues related to the attitudes of employees and difficulties implementing comprehensive and in-depth incident strategies.
Taking this into account, the report suggests a new direction for TFI's security systems to provide secure, innovative solutions.
Automatic Pre-collision warning by Stress Detection and fastest Rescue alertIJTET Journal
Abstract— Vehicular traffic collisions have become a major health concern nowadays. Traffic accidents are increasing every year with increase in number of vehicles. Various techniques have been proposed previously to assist the injured people in road accidents. It includes automatic estimation of severity about collisions and also to deploy emergency services to affected people. Present scenario gives the capability to notify them based on the concept of knowledge discovery on databases (KDD) and data mining processes. The proposed idea here is a novel and intelligent system to introduce a pre-collision warning system inside vehicles. This continuously monitors the driver status by detecting emotions by using sensors. It checks the pulse rate of the driver and gives alert when he is under stress and gives the message in display. By integrating Android application, the voice alert is provided to the passengers hence enhances more safe and comfort drive. Thus the work proposes a system that reduces the chance for accidents. Further in the case if crash occurs, the system automatically gives the information to the nearby rescue home within no time. The data is transmitted with the help of a wireless communication network and reaches the control unit. The control unit may be fixed at the hospital or nearby rescue center. The data sent includes time, location, severity of collision thereby ensures properly and timely assistance to the persons injured in collision.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
