Title of the Position: Provincial Communication and Reporting Officer
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Development of a communication strategy for Sarkani District, Marawarah District and Khas
Kunar District Centers with its cost in term of human and financial capital;
2. Support and contribute to the implementation of a communications strategy through
development of communication packages for audio-video, web- based and written communication
materials and train the staff to implement the strategy and their tasks effectively.
3. In consultation with the Regional Director annual report process and document for hard copy
distribution.
4. Ensure all public reports and documents are loaded and archived in a way that is easy to access
and understand. Develop and maintain a library/filing system of any hard copy reports. Develop
and maintain systems for the management of all donor relations’ activities.
5. Conduct research and provide communications support for issues generated by the projects in
civil service sector.
6. Research, write and coordinate all PM reports, ensuring they are of a high standard and
submitted in a timely manner to the Executive approval.
7. Support the preparation of the quarterly and end of year report writing for the project based on
the developed reporting tools and templates.
8. Ensure all reports and formal letters are translated into the appropriate languages as required.

9. Research all existing and potential future donors, who provide, or may provide, support to the
GIRoA through the CCI. Coordinate donor meetings, briefing and events as required.

11. Coordinate with technical units in the Kabul Office in gathering information for weekly,
monthly and quarterly reports, and other reports such as profiles, fact sheets, and press releases;

arise, into Dari and Pashto. Review and edit the translated document in Dari making sure it is
consistent with the English version;
13. Handle the packaging / binding of reports and other communications materials and ensure their

 Oversee the provision of equipment and adviced to help develop the capacity of the
Supreme Court, Ministry of Justice and Afghanistan Independent Human Rights
Commission (AIHRC) to develop a public outreach strategy and conduct their own

• Help ensure that public outreach promotes the successful implementation of initiatives
and legislation that supports the security and well-being of the population (such as
legislation or policies improving access to education, health care, access to justice, anti-
corruption efforts, etc.).

Development of a communication strategy for Sarkani District, Marawarah District and Khas Kunar District Centers with its cost in term of human and financial capital; 2. Support and contribute to the implementation of a communications strategy through development of communication packages for audio-video, web- based and written communication materials and train the staff to implement the strategy and their tasks effectively. 3. In consultation with the Regional Director annual report process and document for hard copy distribution. 4. Ensure all public reports and documents are loaded and archived in a way that is easy to access and understand. Develop and maintain a library/filing system of any hard copy reports. Develop and maintain systems for the management of all donor relations’ activities. 5. Conduct research and provide communications support for issues generated by the projects in civil service sector. 6. Research, write and coordinate all PM reports, ensuring they are of a high standard and submitted in a timely manner to the Executive approval. 7.
