As a research assistant, I help gather and assess stacks of statistics and other data; establish effective research procedures and standards that can help improve results and productivity; perform study scheduling, write protocols and informed consents; round up and assess information by organizing surveys and interviews, and researching databanks; carefully inspect findings and work on coming to logical and rational conclusions; share information and findings through conduct of literature searches; prepare research manuscripts and research presentations; participate in oral presentations, makes graphs and charts reflecting their findings; and update and maintain research databases.
