I Want To Be A Veterinarian
The career I chose to do when I get older is to be a Veterinarian. The job title is a Vet . This career is

The Simpsons writers support their explanation by providing examples of corruption in power. For
examples, when the inspector is reviewing the power plant Mr. Burns leaves him alone in a room full
of money hoping to bribe the inspector to give him a good review. This shows the people with money
will try to pay to get what they want and that some people can be easily bought.
The authors purpose is to point out how easily people can be swayed by those in power in order to
make people more aware of who they put in those power positions. When a person in power says
something people will sometimes believe them without any proof. So in the episode when Marge
feeds Mr. Burns the fish it is showing how he has to eat his words. The author is trying to make people
choose more wisely and do more research of who they put in power.
The Simpsons writers entertain the audience of voters and the common people by understatement.
They are making light of something that is a big issue. The fact that there is so many people in power
that are corrupt and who are in control of our government is something that could deeply affect how
