Egypt is very worried about the sinking of the Nile Delta. The sinking of the Delta will end an even
more amount of fuel to the world. At the moment it is very hard to grow crops over in Egypt. The soil
will always dry out. They spend lots of money on fresh, wet soil. No matter what it dries out. By the
end of the century 60 percent of the Delta region will be saturated in so much salt that almost no land
will be farmable. 20 percent of the land will be covered in water. Two thirds of Egypt s food will
drown and be completely underwater. This means about two thirds, give or take a few will be
completely homeless and hungry. This will not just affect Egypt, this is going to affect the whole

Beerman had offered to sell his stores to Rike s in 1959, but was rebuffed by the long established
rival. Although Beerman s stores had initially brought about a budget orientation by offering lower
priced merchandise executives had hoped to transform the merged chain into a classier operation b
