Thank you to those who submitted nominations for the Q3 WIS Support STARS of the Quarter Award.
It was great to see a good number of nominations for quarter three, however unfortunately there were
no nominations for Safety.

WINNER SERVICE
Yvonne Li - Blackwoods Shanghai Rep Office
Yvonne Li has provided exceptional service over and above her normal role in the merge of the WWG
and WIS China Team. This involved the entire TWWG 46 employees successfully contracted and
transferred to Blackwoods from 3 labour agencies with business operational payment successfully
transferred. She was also involved in TWWG’s new office design, fit out construction, furniture set up
and new office hardware, which led to the WWG team moving in on time with all operational teams
continuing to run as usual.
WINNER TEAMWORK
Sales and Operations Planning Scorecard
Team members include: Shane Wisniewski (IT Applications Team Leader), Kelvin Hong (Senior
eBusiness Developer), David Gava (Financial Operations Manager), Christina Guo (Supply Chain
Analyst) and Theresa Ho (Senior Supply Chain Analyst) .
Shane Wisniewski took the lead to develop a report to support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
process and in doing so developed a team consisting of Kelvin Hong, David Gava, Christina Guo and
Theresa Ho. Great teamwork was displayed in identifying the sources of information required for the
S&OP scorecard from different parts of the business and different systems as well as identification of
potential showstoppers and the need for regular communication. This led to the S&OP Scorecard being
delivered in accordance with stakeholder expectations and is now being used within the business with
very positive feedback.
HONOURABLE MENTION SERVICE
Naomi Potts – HR Advisor SA & NT
Naomi provided great support to Managers and staff in Industrial Specialists when a critical incident
occurred in Darwin, and has also supported IS in restructuring exercises which were quite complex.
During this process Naomi remained very positive, went ‘the extra mile’ and above all, ensured a
successful outcome was achieved.
Dinesh Vishnu – Financial Accountant
Dinesh who only commenced with the organisation in November has provided great service to adjust
the methodology for Leave Liability reporting, reduced CWIP by $8mil and has updated the CAPEX
forecast with a complete view and breakdown on committed and non-committed amounts, with
comparison to budget.
2. Quarterly STARS Award winners are awarded a prize to the value of $250 per individual or $500 per
team.

Q4. Nominations for Q4 will be called for in early July 2015 however you are welcome to submit a
nomination using the STARS Nomination Form throughout the quarter.
