Photoautotroph And Autotrophs Similarities
Autotrophs and heterotrophs are two different organisms that have distinct traits that differentiate them
from one another. Autotrophs produce their own food for their energy while heterotrophs are
dependent on other organisms for their food, due to this autotrophs are known as primary sources on
the food chain level while heterotrophs are the secondary and tertiary sources due to their reliance on
autotrophs. Autotrophs are separated in two groups, photoautotrophs and chemoautotrophs, an
example of a photoautotroph is algae, photoautotrophs collect their energy from sunlight, carbon
dioxide, and water. Iron Bacteria is an example of a chemoautotroph, chemoautotrophs derive their
energy from oxidation, which is the process of gaining oxygen. ... Show more content on

An herbivore is an animal or an insect that only eats vegetation such as fruits and vegetables, the only
things that herbivores eat are things that need photosynthesis to live. There are different types of
herbivores, some eat various types of vegetation while some stick to a specific type, for instance an
animal or insect like the fruit bat that only eats fruits is called a frugivore, those like pandas that eat
mostly leaves are called folivores, those that eat wood also fall under the category of herbivores, they
are called xylophages, animals that fall under this category include termites and asian long horned
beetles. Most herbivores don t require too much vitamins, although they do need vitamin A, D, and E
are required along with minerals which they get through different sources. Omnivores are a type of
heterotroph, they are the eaters that have the widest array of options in the animal kingdom as they eat

An Effective Feasibility Study Looks At The Entire Project...
Inexperienced programmers often prefer to tackle the coding to a solution first, and skip the planning
phase. However, it is wise to take the time to plan your project before you begin programming. An
effective feasibility study looks at the entire project and tries to determine if what you want to
undertake is possible to do, valid, and worthwhile.
There are four main steps in a feasibility study:
Step One Problem Definition
This is a short description (one paragraph) of the application that you plan to make. A discussion of
the game you have chosen to develop (as well a description of the end users of the software) should be
included.
Our company has been employed by a website which hosts online games to create a Breakout style
game that incorporates the core gameplay features of the original title, while making modifications
and improvements for a novel play experience. Our client s website will host the game for free and
earn money on advertisements. As a result, our potential user base is relatively broad because it
includes any individuals who frequent online gaming websites.
Step Two Problem Analysis
At this stage, you need to look at any constraints or problems that you expect to encounter. A
description of how you intend to deal with them should also be included.
Items to consider:
Hardware required to run the application: This game will be hosted on a website, and as a result, it
necessitates internet access. Breakout is a relatively

Comparing Sigmund Freud s Life And Breuer
While Freud was a medical student he was introduced to Josef Breuer through physiologist Ernst
Brucke. Josef Breuer eventually became friends with Freud and later on introduced Freud to Wilhelm
Fliess. Fliess and Breuer were two influential individuals in Freud s life and Breuer greatly influenced
the development of psychoanalysis. Josef Breuer was a Viennese physician who used hypnotism to
treat hysteria and eventually Freud also used hypnosis to treat his own patients which helped him form
his ideas on unconscious desires. Freud adopted Breuer s cathartic method in the treatment of his own
patients and it was here that he developed his ideas about the role of unconscious conflicts in hysteria
and other forms of neurosis in great depth ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A passing Christian knocked his cap off while telling him to get out of the way and expressing how
much he disliked Jews. Instead of standing up to the Christian, Freud s father just moved out of the
way and retrieved his cap from the ground. After hearing this story Freud was greatly affected because
he lost confidence in his father as a role model. Freud later based his Oedipus Complex theory off of
Sophocles s play Oedipus the King. The story was similar to his father s story only in the play when
the main character is told to move off the road by the king the character instead retaliates and murders
the king. The Oedipus Complex is a child s desire for sexual involvement with either the mother or the
father depending on the child s gender followed by rivalry with the parent of the same sex (Breger,
2012). The Oedipal theory somewhat combines Freud s longing for his mother s attention and his
contempt for his father. Freud did not want to apply his patient s traumatic experiences to himself so
instead he applied his own experiences to his patients through this Oedipal

The Consequences Of Over Investment
The consequences of over investment appear and the economy starts manifesting over heating
symptoms. New tonnage begins to come into the shipping market when the wider economy has
reached its peak. Ship owners are not concerned about this because as far as they have been observing,
the prosperity phase is getting better and better so they expect that it will continue on this upward
trend. Then the recession hits and shippers become less willing to commit to long term charter parties
and take advantage of declining freight rates on the sport market. There is competition as new tonnage
enters the declining market between ship owners who try to grab hold of declining fixtures accepting
lower freight rates than they had originally anticipated when the decision was made to order new
vessels. A downturn in the economy resulted in a decrease in the demand for shipping and tonnage
when supply is now inflated. There is a downward trajectory now and as freight rates and asset values
decrease shippers hold back in anticipation of a depression and non shipping banks begin to pull out as
they lack the experience of such a volatile market.
Now ship arrive on the market, years after they have been ordered and the process now reversed.
Increased supply leads as the demand for shipping decreases freight rates fall. Decreasing freight rates
squeeze the cash inflow now as investors begin paying for their new vessels. The shipping market
crashes as investors only pay, if they can only the

Literary Analysis Of Alice Munro s How I Met My Husband
Literary Analysis Edie and Alice Munro s Life Alice Munro s short story, How I Met My Husband has
a narrator that is one of a kind and a true reflection of the author s lifestyle. The symbolic meaning of
Edie s role in the story can be directly related to the life Alice Munro was living and striving for
herself. Edie is a 15 year old girl who strives for marriage and affection from men, has been raised in a
country/rural setting, and does poorly in obtaining a higher education due to many reasons. Just as
Edie is living out this way of life in the story, Alice Munro was experiencing the same things in her
real day to day life.
The drive for marriage and affection from men was a desire that both Edie and Munro strived for in
their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She later states in the article that she did not discover her talent for writing until she was a housewife
around the age of 40. This want of being popular among the boys was reflected through the life of
Edie and her affection seeking ways.
The interest shown by Chris Watters is a love that is deceptive to Edie as she is searching for a man to
show her what she wants in life. Do you have to go so soon (Kennedy 207)? shows that he cares for
her, but not on the same level she is interpreting this compassion. Alice went through a similar
situation, after she had three kids she went through a divorce which shows the vulnerability of women
to love and the deception that can accompany it.
Another component of love and the feelings of love for a man are revealed through a strong
comparison made in the story by Edie in regards to the fiancée of Chris Watters, Alice Kelling. This
comparison is one that is made of out of jealousy since Alice Kelling was already one step ahead of
Edie in the quest for Chris s heart and love.
This Alice Kelling had on a pair of brown and white checked slacks and a yellow top. Her bust looked
to me rather low and bumpy. She had a worried face. Her

How Bill Has Breached The Duty
With this, the existence of a duty of care has been proven and is now time to see if it has been
breached. It is up to Arthur to show Bill has breached the duty . To do so he will need to prove a
reasonable man would have not acted in the same way. The test is objective in a sense that Bill s skill
would not be considered in favour of those of a man who is presumed to be free both from over
apprehension and from over confidence . Bill ignored a warning saying no HGVs should be crossing
the bridge, it can be argued that no reasonable person would do this.
Moreover, seeing as Bill is a professional, the case of Maynard could be used to further support Arthur
s claim. In this case, it was held that it should also be shown no professional would agree with the
conduct of the defendant. In other words, would another policeman agree on letting an HGV pass in
such weather? The answer to this would arguably be no.
Having proven there is a duty of care and it has been breached, the next step would be to show the
breach was what caused damages. Causation has 2 main elements legal and factual. In order to
establish legal causation, one must use the but for test. In our case, the test would look something like,
But for Bill s negligence, would Arthur s accident have occurred. This test only questions the facts of
the case and is relatively straight forward. Thus, ignoring everything else, no, Arthur would not have
been in an accident if he had not been on the bridge, which Bill

Essay about History 11a
China is a country with a long history. Looking back in history, there are many virtuous personages.
After I read the Book of Odes and the Chronicles of Zuo, I found that both the official Zhongshan Fu
and the Zichan are outstanding people, who help their duck to make a better kingdom. In fact, they
shared some similar qualities. First, Both of Zhongshan Fu and Zichan were loyal. So, they could gain
the trust form the king, and they were entrusted with an important post. In the Song 260 from Book of
Odes, it says, Obedient to the Son of Heaven, Whose glorious commands he spreads abroad. Also,
from the king s command in Song 260, we know that the king let Zhongshan Fu to be the king s throat

In the Song 260 from the Book of Odes, it says, The king charged Zhongshan Fu to fortify the eastern
land. His four steeds so fine, the eight harness bells chiming. Zhongshan Fu went to QI and swift was
his return. Form this description, we can see that Zhongshan Fu s role was not making decision or
giving suggestion to the king, but executed the order form king. While on the contrary, Zichan was
skilled in making suggestion. From the Chronicles of Zuo, there are many stories tell us when the king
made bad or wrong decisions, Zichan always objected to the king and told him the reason. He was not
afraid that he king would be unhappy or even angry. For example, when the Zipi wished to grant
lordship of fief to Yin He, Zichan opposed Zipi s decision. He listed many reasons why Yin He couldn
t be in charged of his fief. Because of his wisdom and persuasion, finally Zipi agreed with his
suggestion, and trusted him more and more. Zichan was really a minded person. He always put
himself to the position of king to think problem, so that he could make a right decision, which is more
suitable than king s own decision. In fact, as a decision maker for a country, if not considered all
aspects or even make a small mistake, it would bring negative influence or even disaster to this
country. Secondly, Zhongshan Fu and Zichan had different relationship to the ruler. Zhongshan Fu was
just an official of Zhou, and obedient to the Son of Heaven.

How The Attack On Pearl Harbor Changed History
How the Attack on Pearl Harbor Changed History Imagine, sleeping in your bunk on the USS Arizona
just after 8:00 am, when suddenly the ship begins to call general quarters. This is what it was like for
the crew of the USS Arizona, the USS California, and the USS Missouri. The attack on Pearl Harbor
was underway by just before 8:00 am on December 7th 1941. For my research paper, I will talk about
the attack on Pearl Harbor and how it changed the course of history. I will discuss the general
information on the attack on Pearl Harbor, the course of attack that the Japanese made, the power of
air forces, the defense of Pearl Harbor, and how the attack changed the course of history. First I will
give a little general history of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The attack on Pearl Harbor, a day that shall
live in infamy, happened on the 7th of December, 1941. The Japanese naval forces launched an attack
on the U.S. naval base of Pearl Harbor, the attack including mini submarines and aircraft. In an effort
to destroy dozens of ships in the U.S. Navy, the Japanese aircraft dropped hundreds of bombs, along
with torpedoes (Perlman, 2011). The battle only spanned 90 minutes, but it would be one of the worst
moments in American history with over 3,700 casualties. The day after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the
U.S. President, Franklin Roosevelt, asked Congress for a declaration of war on the nation of Japan.
This request was passed with minimal opposition, this being a member of congress

Arguments Against Abortion Pro Life
Abortion is a tough topic in which you can only decide to be either for or against it. There is a huge
amount of people who believe that abortion should be legal and that everyone should respect that
decision; however, there is also people who are against this ideology and believe that abortion is
something immoral and should be illegal. People, who is pro abortion, prefer to say that they are pro
choice. They like better this term because they say that they aren t fighting for abortions, instead, they
are supporting woman s right. This means that they are pro choice to fight for equality in woman s
rights and not because they like to abort. The same happens with people that are against abortions,
many people prefer to be pro life. A pro life person is someone who favors life and is against abortion
an any other methods of killing people. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Humans beings have a tendency of arguing and defending our ideology, and because of this we create
counterattack arguments, to defend what we believe is true and right. By doing this we exhibit our
beliefs and concerns about the topic discussed. Aborting does not only involve women, it also involves
the unborn baby and the father. Reasons as having the right to choose or take our own decision on
what to do with our body, or abortion helps women to have or develop a professional career and helps
to achieve their goals, or making abortion illegal would cause catastrophic problems to women; those
reasons are some arguments that could be counterattacked by arguing that they are taking away the
right to live to protect a moral right, aborting does not always guarantee an outstanding life or
legalizing abortion will only make it more simple and common at the point that young women would
use it as a way to avoid responsibilities instead of using other methods as using contraceptive

The Movie The Laramie Project
After, reading and watching the movie of The Laramie Project I was left with so many emotions,
ideas, and questions. The play was based on a series of interviews, in order to provide true facts and
statements to the audience. Since I have been studying the case of Matthew, I am now able to see
clearly and to understand that the ferocity committed to him is considered by the law to be a hate
crime.
The term hate crime was coined in the 1980s by journalists and policy advocates who were attempting
to describe a series of incidents directed at Jews, Asians and African Americans. The Federal Bureau
of Investigation defines hate crime (also known as bias crime) as a criminal offense committed against
a person, property, or society that is motivated, in whole or in part, by the offender s bias against a
race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity/national origin.(National Institute of justice,
Paragraph 1, December 22, 2010.) The evidences, testimonies, and demonstrations from the case of
Matthew show us that he was attacked and persecuted because of his sexual orientation. People would
like to think that what happened to Matthew was an exception to the rule, but it was an extreme
version of what happens in our schools on a daily basis ( Newsperson 4, p45, Laramie project ). This
quote show us how people go through hate in a daily basis and it s miserable and sad that the only way
to get people s consideration and attention was for something as tragic

My Dream Experience
The first day of class for a student is like drawing cards in a poker game. Just as the cards that one
receives determines their outcome in poker, the types of teachers a student gets on the first day will
determine the success of their year.
My stomach was tied in knots, and I could feel the sweat soaking through my shirt. My hands were
sweating as I spun the combination lock. I tried remembering the numbers but it just could not get to
my mind. I was thinking 1234 or 4321? The next thing I ever did know what I was doing was running
down the hallway screaming while other people were giggling and staring at me like I was doing
everything wrong. They were just ....laughing....laughing....laughing. Then the bell noise came it
sounded like the bell for my alarm clock. In fact I was in a nightmare all along! The alarm clock was
beeping and beeping. It was so loud that it woke my brother from the other side of the wall.
I was having the exact same dream with the exact same role in 5th grade summer. I was always
worrying about how it was going to be like because of my dwarfism, but today it seemed even scarier
since it was the first day school. It was like how the book Nightmares says that all dreams stay with
you unless you face them. Well today I was going to face that nightmare.

Erosion is unfortuanately present at Cronulla beach, the local government have tried to tackle this
problem with solution such as dune stabilization and rip rap walls. Rip rap walls are when larged
rocks are piled in a certain angle to catch drifting sand and protect the beaches from harsher waves
and to protect buildings from high tides. There are also many programs which help to ensure the
stabilization of dunes, these include the planting of new vegetation to combat erosion, fencing and
designated walkways to prevent human interference. The main reason of dune stabilization is to slow
down the speed of erosion. In 1974 the Cronulla beaches were at an all time low and was in a critical
state, from this the University of New South Wales designed a new wall, a wall which is different
from the conventional walls used to prevent erosion and transportation with these hexagonal concrete
blocks weigh well over a tonne each to be used as a line of defence agiasnt the waves and erosion.
These concrete walls over a period of time have increased the size of the beach. Enviromental
organisations have tried there best to limit the amount of man made deveoplment on coastal lads and

The Pros And Cons Of The Good Friday Agreement
The Good Friday Agreement says that they will let the majority vote then that will determine if
Northern Ireland unites with Ireland. This agreement allows Northern Ireland to be a part of the
United Kingdom for as long as the majority desires to be. (Bollens, page 57). Although there was

Professor Bollens, projects that within the next 10 to 15 years the shift from Protestants to Catholics is
going to be so distinguished that there will probably be a vote for Northern Ireland to join Ireland and
that it will join (lec., Feb 6th). Since the younger generations are identifying with the Catholics more,
he projects that it will take 10 to 15 years because they need to wait until there are a significant

The Federal Government Regulate The Insurance Industry
Background The federal government s role is in regulating industries is to protect consumers and the
market. There is an ongoing debate on whether the federal government should regulate the insurance
industry as a result of the bailouts stemming from the Financial Crisis of 2008. Currently, state
governments regulate the insurance industry. Proponents of federal regulation reason that states are
inefficient in the duty of insurance regulation. Additionally, the federal government has economies of
scale and may offer an increase in efficiency unlike state regulation. The federal government regulates
industries due to inherent systemic risk to the country s economic environment. Systemic risk is the
risk of collapse of an entire financial system or market. (SOURCE) For example, banking institutions
such as Lehman Brothers, Merrell Lynch, and Goldman Sachs were major contributors to the financial
crisis in 2008 because these institutions were systemically significant to the market. The insurance
industry and the core activities of the industry, however, were not a major contributor to near collapse
of the American economy. The federal government should not regulate the insurance industry because
it does not possess a systemic risk to the market economy, states have the ability and resources to
regulate, and federal regulation would result in unnecessary costs from the federal budget.

or information; as by speech, visuals, signals, written work or behaviour. It is the meaningful
exchange of information between two or more living creatures. Communication requires a sender, a
message and a recipient although the receiver does not have to be present or aware of the sender s
intent to communicate at the time of communication thus communication can occur across vast
distances in time and space. Communication works in two systems which are verbal communication
and non verbal communication whose forms this essay seeks to outline and discuss. Verbal
communication is communication through a figure of speech and non verbal ... Show more content on

Furthermore, it takes more time in composing a written message as compared to word of mouth and a
number of people struggle for writing ability.
On the other hand, the other system of communication is non verbal communication. Non verbal
communication is the sending or receiving of wordless messages. Therefore communication other than
oral and written, such as gesture, body language, posture, tone of voice or facial expressions is called
non verbal communication. According to Mehrabian (1972) non verbal communication describes the
process of conveying meaning in the form of non word messages . Non verbal communication helps
the receiver in interpreting the message received. Often, non verbal signals reflect the situation more
accurately than verbal messages. Sometimes non verbal responses contradict verbal communication
and hence affect the effectiveness of message.
More so, non verbal communication has three elements which are; appearance, body language and
sounds. Appearance includes the speaker, clothing, hairstyle, neatness and use of cosmetics, more so,
surrounding and furnishings. Body language includes facial expressions, gestures and postures.
Sounds includes voice tone, volume and speech rate. According to Martes (2011) forms of non verbal

Charlie-Personal Narrative
I sit on a scuffed wooden bench in the company of a lone stroller. Charlie is tucked inside, sleeping
peacefully. I woke up early this morning for no reason in particular. Perhaps I m subconsciously still
trying to make up for lost time, being with Charlie and soaking up as much sunlight as possible. The
entire town had longed for anything but a gray sky since the beginning of winter and today was finally
that day. Spring was coming. The last of the snow has slowly melted away, along with everyone s
puffy coats and holiday spirit. Although this morning began quite nippy, any chill disappears as the
sun rises higher in the sky. Today, I watch the small town awake and begin it s normal early morning
bustle. Doors to shops along the street and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It s a rare occurrence to see a car in this town, and we both take a moment to gape with morbid
curiosity. No doubt, it s someone just passing through the town; entering one minute and out before
the next. I squint into the distance and study the approaching car. I shield my eyes from the sun
reflecting from the windshield to get a better look. It could be a trick of the light, but the car seem to
be veering off the road, speeding straight at us. _____ In an instant, these lives have forever been
changed. One moment there was a successful businessman, a striving mother and a bright, young man.
The next, a man slaughterer, an accident witness and a corpse. An entire world of possibility was
crushed along with every bone in Andrew s body, the expensive steel frame of Mr. Caravero s car and
Anne s hopeful spirit. The once ordinary morning was now filled with the sounds of distant sirens
approaching, Mr. Caravero s car alarm blaring and a baby wailing. Anne gathered her child quickly
into her arms, hugging him tightly and thanking her lucky stars that it wasn t her boy. Her heart aches
for Andrew s mother, who would have one less child after today. It could ve been Charlie, Anne tells
herself. It could ve been

Child Migration And Human Rights Essay
Children are often caught in the middle when the state decides whether a child s right to live in an
intact family conflicts with its interest in maintaining immigration control. Along with this issue, there
is an argument regarding allowing children born in a country to have automatic birthright citizenship,
even when their parents may be undocumented.
In the book Child Migration and Human Rights in a Global Age, Jacqueline Bhabha writes about the
implications deporting immigrants has on the idea of nuclear families. She references conclusions
made by Jean Piaget, a famous developmental psychologist, about the negative impact children feel
caused by separation from their parent or parents. Piaget states that the presence of parents is essential
for a child s development of morality (Bhabha 20). Research about the impact of separation with
regards to immigrant children who are eventually reunited with their parents, reports the complex
emotional turmoil experienced by the child or children. Therefore, thrusting a child into the migration
process only proves to be more harmful than helpful. Clinical reports reveal considerable negative
impacts on children and on family relationships both during and after the separation phase . Parents
forced to part with their children may feel guilt, but expect gratitude for the sacrifices that they made
for their child, but in reality, the child ends up feeling more anger, and resentment towards the parent
for leaving them (Bhabha

Confirmation Streat
As you probably gotten from our conversations throughout this process I am not the one to write
sentimental and sappy letters, I think we re both similar in that way. But I am going to give it a shot as
you read this letter on your Confirmation Spirt Day Retreat. I ll start off by letting you know that I am
proud of you for starting this journey of Confirmation and congratulate you on deciding to embrace
your faith. You are a man now, in the fact that upon your day of Confirmation you will have received
both the Sacraments of Initiation. You will be a full fledged member of the Body of Christ and a
journey in faith that started at your Baptism many years ago will be fulfilled by the gifts of the Holy
Spirt in your Confirmation. This process

Remembering the Disremembered Essay
Remembering the Disremembered
Everybody knew what she was called, but nobody anywhere knew her name. Disremembered and
unaccounted for, she cannot be lost because no one is looking for her, and even if they were, how can
they call her if they don t know her name? Although she has claim, she is not claimed. In the place
where long grass opens, the girl who waited to be loved and cry shame erupts into her separate parts,
to make it easy for the chewing laughter to swallow her all away.
It was not a story to pass on.

In this, the dusk of the 20th century, to whom has the task of Benjamin s storyteller fallen? One such
contemporary storyteller is African American writer Toni Morrison, who in her novel Beloved brings
our present face to face with the image of the smashed bodies of Black slaves, forcing us to re member
and account for their experiences.
I
Benjamin has identified the catastrophe of history with the loss of communicable experience and
hence meaning in human life. The processes initiated in the Enlightenment, perpetuated in the rise of
positivistic philosophy, and culminating in the horrors of World War I have stripped humanity of its
experiential reality.
It is as if something that seemed inalienable to us, the securest among our possessions, were taken
from us: the ability to exchange experiences. . . For never has experience been contradicted more
thoroughly than strategic experience by tactical warfare, economic experience by inflation, bodily
experience by mechanical warfare, moral experience by those in power (Illuminations, 83 84).
What is lost is the art of the storyteller who, in the telling of the stories of a culture, passed on the
tradition from one generation to the next and with it the wisdom of experience. This wisdom is
nothing less than the knowledge and skill necessary to integrate the experiences contained in tradition
into the real lives of the listeners, to make them conscious of history.
The story places us

Edward Jenner s Discovery Of The Smallpox Vaccine
Edward Jenner was a British physician and scientist, who studied anatomy and surgery. Jenner is best
known for introducing the smallpox vaccination to Britain in the year of 1796. He was the pioneer of
the smallpox Vaccine and thanks to him there was cure to this deadly disease. Along researching about
Edward s discovery, it can be inferred what the term, virus, and disease, mean to further explain this
disease; and inform to others what is smallpox how, how this disease came about and how one
becomes infected and what are the symptoms to the disease? Indeed, it is questioned how Jenner came
to conclude for such cure, how it was then treated to patients, and how it is now.

Introduction
Suburban shopping malls are malls where with a single location shoppers can visit more over
hundreds shops all of different kinds, i.e. shoppers can eat, watch movies, dine and walk. Most
Americans could hung out here all the entire day and feel much uplifted in spirit by their experience.
Suburban regional malls were designed to be a substitute or even a replacement for a city central
business district. In 50s such malls were small but today it stands out to be a large malls that can be
categorized into eight types, include; Neighborhood centers, community centers, regional centers,

This is through compelling content and creating deeper bonds with them through social media and
proprietary sites and apps, as well as loyalty programs. Social media can be useful, for instance, to
create buzz about new tenants or solicit ideas from consumers about ideas for new stores. Mall loyalty
programs can provide the means for malls to establish a direct relationship with customers that goes
beyond each visit to the mall, while allowing malls to collect precious information about customers.
Secondly, I would use technology to transform this mall usability as a mean of improving customer s
satisfaction. This can decrease customers pain points, while simultaneously creating entirely new
delight points, for instance, technology can be used by shoppers to find parking and mobile apps can
offer quick, easy guide to help shoppers find what they re looking for at today s increasingly large and

How Is Sound Design Used In The Movie Gravity
I never had seen the movie Gravity, although I have seen the trailer back then. For some reason, films
like this always get me a little bit sad, just as the movie Interstellar (for those of you who have seen
the movie Interstellar, you know it is sad). On the other hand, I am very fond of the sound design used
in the movie. The image and the sound definitely complement each other. In the beginning of the
movie, just as a general knowledge, we are aware that the sounds used are somewhat real because of
the usual sound used that we already knew what it sounds like. For example, the sound of Dr. Stone
talking on the microphone, the sound of the disorienting space shuttle, the sound of the tool wrenching
into a screw, the grasping on the screw

  • 2. Photoautotroph And Autotrophs Similarities Autotrophs and heterotrophs are two different organisms that have distinct traits that differentiate them from one another. Autotrophs produce their own food for their energy while heterotrophs are dependent on other organisms for their food, due to this autotrophs are known as primary sources on the food chain level while heterotrophs are the secondary and tertiary sources due to their reliance on autotrophs. Autotrophs are separated in two groups, photoautotrophs and chemoautotrophs, an example of a photoautotroph is algae, photoautotrophs collect their energy from sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water. Iron Bacteria is an example of a chemoautotroph, chemoautotrophs derive their energy from oxidation, which is the process of gaining oxygen. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 3. An Effective Feasibility Study Looks At The Entire Project... Inexperienced programmers often prefer to tackle the coding to a solution first, and skip the planning phase. However, it is wise to take the time to plan your project before you begin programming. An effective feasibility study looks at the entire project and tries to determine if what you want to undertake is possible to do, valid, and worthwhile. There are four main steps in a feasibility study: Step One Problem Definition This is a short description (one paragraph) of the application that you plan to make. A discussion of the game you have chosen to develop (as well a description of the end users of the software) should be included. Our company has been employed by a website which hosts online games to create a Breakout style game that incorporates the core gameplay features of the original title, while making modifications and improvements for a novel play experience. Our client s website will host the game for free and earn money on advertisements. As a result, our potential user base is relatively broad because it includes any individuals who frequent online gaming websites. Step Two Problem Analysis At this stage, you need to look at any constraints or problems that you expect to encounter. A description of how you intend to deal with them should also be included. Items to consider: Hardware required to run the application: This game will be hosted on a website, and as a result, it necessitates internet access. Breakout is a relatively ... • 4. Comparing Sigmund Freud s Life And Breuer While Freud was a medical student he was introduced to Josef Breuer through physiologist Ernst Brucke. Josef Breuer eventually became friends with Freud and later on introduced Freud to Wilhelm Fliess. Fliess and Breuer were two influential individuals in Freud s life and Breuer greatly influenced the development of psychoanalysis. Josef Breuer was a Viennese physician who used hypnotism to treat hysteria and eventually Freud also used hypnosis to treat his own patients which helped him form his ideas on unconscious desires. Freud adopted Breuer s cathartic method in the treatment of his own patients and it was here that he developed his ideas about the role of unconscious conflicts in hysteria and other forms of neurosis in great depth ... Instead of standing up to the Christian, Freud s father just moved out of the way and retrieved his cap from the ground. After hearing this story Freud was greatly affected because he lost confidence in his father as a role model. Freud later based his Oedipus Complex theory off of Sophocles s play Oedipus the King. The story was similar to his father s story only in the play when the main character is told to move off the road by the king the character instead retaliates and murders the king. The Oedipus Complex is a child s desire for sexual involvement with either the mother or the father depending on the child s gender followed by rivalry with the parent of the same sex (Breger, 2012). The Oedipal theory somewhat combines Freud s longing for his mother s attention and his contempt for his father. Freud did not want to apply his patient s traumatic experiences to himself so instead he applied his own experiences to his patients through this Oedipal ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. The Consequences Of Over Investment The consequences of over investment appear and the economy starts manifesting over heating symptoms. New tonnage begins to come into the shipping market when the wider economy has reached its peak. Ship owners are not concerned about this because as far as they have been observing, the prosperity phase is getting better and better so they expect that it will continue on this upward trend. Then the recession hits and shippers become less willing to commit to long term charter parties and take advantage of declining freight rates on the sport market. There is competition as new tonnage enters the declining market between ship owners who try to grab hold of declining fixtures accepting lower freight rates than they had originally anticipated when the decision was made to order new vessels. A downturn in the economy resulted in a decrease in the demand for shipping and tonnage when supply is now inflated. There is a downward trajectory now and as freight rates and asset values decrease shippers hold back in anticipation of a depression and non shipping banks begin to pull out as they lack the experience of such a volatile market. Now ship arrive on the market, years after they have been ordered and the process now reversed. Increased supply leads as the demand for shipping decreases freight rates fall. Decreasing freight rates squeeze the cash inflow now as investors begin paying for their new vessels. The shipping market crashes as investors only pay, if they can only the ... • 6. • 7. Literary Analysis Of Alice Munro s How I Met My Husband Literary Analysis Edie and Alice Munro s Life Alice Munro s short story, How I Met My Husband has a narrator that is one of a kind and a true reflection of the author s lifestyle. The symbolic meaning of Edie s role in the story can be directly related to the life Alice Munro was living and striving for herself. Edie is a 15 year old girl who strives for marriage and affection from men, has been raised in a country/rural setting, and does poorly in obtaining a higher education due to many reasons. Just as Edie is living out this way of life in the story, Alice Munro was experiencing the same things in her real day to day life. The drive for marriage and affection from men was a desire that both Edie and Munro strived for in their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... She later states in the article that she did not discover her talent for writing until she was a housewife around the age of 40. This want of being popular among the boys was reflected through the life of Edie and her affection seeking ways. The interest shown by Chris Watters is a love that is deceptive to Edie as she is searching for a man to show her what she wants in life. Do you have to go so soon (Kennedy 207)? shows that he cares for her, but not on the same level she is interpreting this compassion. Alice went through a similar situation, after she had three kids she went through a divorce which shows the vulnerability of women to love and the deception that can accompany it. Another component of love and the feelings of love for a man are revealed through a strong comparison made in the story by Edie in regards to the fiancée of Chris Watters, Alice Kelling. This comparison is one that is made of out of jealousy since Alice Kelling was already one step ahead of Edie in the quest for Chris s heart and love. This Alice Kelling had on a pair of brown and white checked slacks and a yellow top. Her bust looked to me rather low and bumpy. She had a worried face. Her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. How Bill Has Breached The Duty With this, the existence of a duty of care has been proven and is now time to see if it has been breached. It is up to Arthur to show Bill has breached the duty . To do so he will need to prove a reasonable man would have not acted in the same way. The test is objective in a sense that Bill s skill would not be considered in favour of those of a man who is presumed to be free both from over apprehension and from over confidence . Bill ignored a warning saying no HGVs should be crossing the bridge, it can be argued that no reasonable person would do this. Moreover, seeing as Bill is a professional, the case of Maynard could be used to further support Arthur s claim. In this case, it was held that it should also be shown no professional would agree with the conduct of the defendant. In other words, would another policeman agree on letting an HGV pass in such weather? The answer to this would arguably be no. Having proven there is a duty of care and it has been breached, the next step would be to show the breach was what caused damages. Causation has 2 main elements legal and factual. In order to establish legal causation, one must use the but for test. In our case, the test would look something like, But for Bill s negligence, would Arthur s accident have occurred. This test only questions the facts of the case and is relatively straight forward. Thus, ignoring everything else, no, Arthur would not have been in an accident if he had not been on the bridge, which Bill ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

After I read the Book of Odes and the Chronicles of Zuo, I found that both the official Zhongshan Fu and the Zichan are outstanding people, who help their duck to make a better kingdom. In fact, they shared some similar qualities. First, Both of Zhongshan Fu and Zichan were loyal. So, they could gain the trust form the king, and they were entrusted with an important post. In the Song 260 from Book of Odes, it says, Obedient to the Son of Heaven, Whose glorious commands he spreads abroad. Zhongshan Fu went to QI and swift was his return. Form this description, we can see that Zhongshan Fu s role was not making decision or giving suggestion to the king, but executed the order form king. While on the contrary, Zichan was skilled in making suggestion. From the Chronicles of Zuo, there are many stories tell us when the king made bad or wrong decisions, Zichan always objected to the king and told him the reason. He was not afraid that he king would be unhappy or even angry. For example, when the Zipi wished to grant lordship of fief to Yin He, Zichan opposed Zipi s decision. He listed many reasons why Yin He couldn t be in charged of his fief. Because of his wisdom and persuasion, finally Zipi agreed with his suggestion, and trusted him more and more. Zichan was really a minded person. He always put himself to the position of king to think problem, so that he could make a right decision, which is more suitable than king s own decision. In fact, as a decision maker for a country, if not considered all aspects or even make a small mistake, it would bring negative influence or even disaster to this country. Secondly, Zhongshan Fu and Zichan had different relationship to the ruler. Zhongshan Fu was just an official of Zhou, and obedient to the Son of Heaven. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

How The Attack On Pearl Harbor Changed History How the Attack on Pearl Harbor Changed History Imagine, sleeping in your bunk on the USS Arizona just after 8:00 am, when suddenly the ship begins to call general quarters. This is what it was like for the crew of the USS Arizona, the USS California, and the USS Missouri. The attack on Pearl Harbor was underway by just before 8:00 am on December 7th 1941. For my research paper, I will talk about the attack on Pearl Harbor and how it changed the course of history. I will discuss the general information on the attack on Pearl Harbor, the course of attack that the Japanese made, the power of air forces, the defense of Pearl Harbor, and how the attack changed the course of history. First I will give a little general history of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The attack on Pearl Harbor, a day that shall live in infamy, happened on the 7th of December, 1941. The Japanese naval forces launched an attack on the U.S. naval base of Pearl Harbor, the attack including mini submarines and aircraft. In an effort to destroy dozens of ships in the U.S. Navy, the Japanese aircraft dropped hundreds of bombs, along with torpedoes (Perlman, 2011). The battle only spanned 90 minutes, but it would be one of the worst moments in American history with over 3,700 casualties. The day after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the U.S. President, Franklin Roosevelt, asked Congress for a declaration of war on the nation of Japan. There is a huge amount of people who believe that abortion should be legal and that everyone should respect that decision; however, there is also people who are against this ideology and believe that abortion is something immoral and should be illegal. People, who is pro abortion, prefer to say that they are pro choice. They like better this term because they say that they aren t fighting for abortions, instead, they are supporting woman s right. This means that they are pro choice to fight for equality in woman s rights and not because they like to abort. The same happens with people that are against abortions, many people prefer to be pro life. Reasons as having the right to choose or take our own decision on what to do with our body, or abortion helps women to have or develop a professional career and helps to achieve their goals, or making abortion illegal would cause catastrophic problems to women; those reasons are some arguments that could be counterattacked by arguing that they are taking away the right to live to protect a moral right, aborting does not always guarantee an outstanding life or legalizing abortion will only make it more simple and common at the point that young women would use it as a way to avoid responsibilities instead of using other methods as using contraceptive ... • 13. The Movie The Laramie Project After, reading and watching the movie of The Laramie Project I was left with so many emotions, ideas, and questions. The play was based on a series of interviews, in order to provide true facts and statements to the audience. Since I have been studying the case of Matthew, I am now able to see clearly and to understand that the ferocity committed to him is considered by the law to be a hate crime. The term hate crime was coined in the 1980s by journalists and policy advocates who were attempting to describe a series of incidents directed at Jews, Asians and African Americans. The Federal Bureau of Investigation defines hate crime (also known as bias crime) as a criminal offense committed against a person, property, or society that is motivated, in whole or in part, by the offender s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity/national origin.(National Institute of justice, Paragraph 1, December 22, 2010.) The evidences, testimonies, and demonstrations from the case of Matthew show us that he was attacked and persecuted because of his sexual orientation. People would like to think that what happened to Matthew was an exception to the rule, but it was an extreme version of what happens in our schools on a daily basis ( Newsperson 4, p45, Laramie project ). This quote show us how people go through hate in a daily basis and it s miserable and sad that the only way to get people s consideration and attention was for something as tragic ... Erosion is unfortuanately present at Cronulla beach, the local government have tried to tackle this problem with solution such as dune stabilization and rip rap walls. Rip rap walls are when larged rocks are piled in a certain angle to catch drifting sand and protect the beaches from harsher waves and to protect buildings from high tides. There are also many programs which help to ensure the stabilization of dunes, these include the planting of new vegetation to combat erosion, fencing and designated walkways to prevent human interference. The main reason of dune stabilization is to slow down the speed of erosion. In 1974 the Cronulla beaches were at an all time low and was in a critical state, from this the University of New South Wales designed a new wall, a wall which is different from the conventional walls used to prevent erosion and transportation with these hexagonal concrete blocks weigh well over a tonne each to be used as a line of defence agiasnt the waves and erosion. Nonpharmacological nursing interventions for the management of patient fatigue: a literature review. Journal of Clinical Nursing, 22, 2668 2678. doi: 10.1111/jocn.12211 2. Is the review thorough does it include all of the major studies on the topic? Does it include recent research? Are studies from other related disciplines included, if appropriate? (25 points) In my opinion the review was fair, but the research study is weak due to several limitations. The reviewers clearly identified the limitations of the study such as, the sample size and the evaluation of the interventions. Although, the eight types of interventions were reviewed, the researchers did not include the effect and impact of nonpharmacological interventions of patients with fatigue. The reviewers included the recent research studies for comparison and credible references were used to support the review. A table with descriptions and interventions should also be clearly labeled and in detailed. Based on the study, the interventions were delivered by nurses and nurse researchers. It would more effective if other disciples such as the occupational therapist, physical therapist, Kinesiotherapist, and physicians were included in the studies. • 21. The Federal Government Regulate The Insurance Industry Background The federal government s role is in regulating industries is to protect consumers and the market. There is an ongoing debate on whether the federal government should regulate the insurance industry as a result of the bailouts stemming from the Financial Crisis of 2008. Currently, state governments regulate the insurance industry. Proponents of federal regulation reason that states are inefficient in the duty of insurance regulation. Additionally, the federal government has economies of scale and may offer an increase in efficiency unlike state regulation. The federal government regulates industries due to inherent systemic risk to the country s economic environment. Systemic risk is the risk of collapse of an entire financial system or market. (SOURCE) For example, banking institutions such as Lehman Brothers, Merrell Lynch, and Goldman Sachs were major contributors to the financial crisis in 2008 because these institutions were systemically significant to the market. The insurance industry and the core activities of the industry, however, were not a major contributor to near collapse of the American economy. The federal government should not regulate the insurance industry because it does not possess a systemic risk to the market economy, states have the ability and resources to regulate, and federal regulation would result in unnecessary costs from the federal budget. Therefore communication other than oral and written, such as gesture, body language, posture, tone of voice or facial expressions is called non verbal communication. According to Mehrabian (1972) non verbal communication describes the process of conveying meaning in the form of non word messages . Non verbal communication helps the receiver in interpreting the message received. Often, non verbal signals reflect the situation more accurately than verbal messages. Sometimes non verbal responses contradict verbal communication and hence affect the effectiveness of message. More so, non verbal communication has three elements which are; appearance, body language and sounds. Appearance includes the speaker, clothing, hairstyle, neatness and use of cosmetics, more so, surrounding and furnishings. Body language includes facial expressions, gestures and postures. • 25. Child Migration And Human Rights Essay Children are often caught in the middle when the state decides whether a child s right to live in an intact family conflicts with its interest in maintaining immigration control. Along with this issue, there is an argument regarding allowing children born in a country to have automatic birthright citizenship, even when their parents may be undocumented. In the book Child Migration and Human Rights in a Global Age, Jacqueline Bhabha writes about the implications deporting immigrants has on the idea of nuclear families. She references conclusions made by Jean Piaget, a famous developmental psychologist, about the negative impact children feel caused by separation from their parent or parents. Piaget states that the presence of parents is essential for a child s development of morality (Bhabha 20). Research about the impact of separation with regards to immigrant children who are eventually reunited with their parents, reports the complex emotional turmoil experienced by the child or children. Therefore, thrusting a child into the migration process only proves to be more harmful than helpful. Clinical reports reveal considerable negative impacts on children and on family relationships both during and after the separation phase . Parents forced to part with their children may feel guilt, but expect gratitude for the sacrifices that they made for their child, but in reality, the child ends up feeling more anger, and resentment towards the parent for leaving them (Bhabha ... In this, the dusk of the 20th century, to whom has the task of Benjamin s storyteller fallen? One such contemporary storyteller is African American writer Toni Morrison, who in her novel Beloved brings our present face to face with the image of the smashed bodies of Black slaves, forcing us to re member and account for their experiences. I Benjamin has identified the catastrophe of history with the loss of communicable experience and hence meaning in human life. The processes initiated in the Enlightenment, perpetuated in the rise of positivistic philosophy, and culminating in the horrors of World War I have stripped humanity of its experiential reality. It is as if something that seemed inalienable to us, the securest among our possessions, were taken from us: the ability to exchange experiences. . . For never has experience been contradicted more thoroughly than strategic experience by tactical warfare, economic experience by inflation, bodily experience by mechanical warfare, moral experience by those in power (Illuminations, 83 84). What is lost is the art of the storyteller who, in the telling of the stories of a culture, passed on the tradition from one generation to the next and with it the wisdom of experience. This wisdom is nothing less than the knowledge and skill necessary to integrate the experiences contained in tradition into the real lives of the listeners, to make them conscious of history.
