Branding is the process of creating a unique name and image for a product in consumers' minds through advertising to identify and differentiate the product from others. It involves aligning what a company wants people to think about it with what people actually think about the company. While logos are an important component, strong brands are achieved through more than just symbols and instead through emotional images that pull consumers rather than push products upon them. However, few companies are truly able to achieve such strong branding.
