O The Chroma-key elements worked well, using relevant
images in the background.
O Cutaways gave more meaning to the audio elements of
the documentary.
O The interview with the twins was interesting.
O The Voxpop was interesting, made the documentary
more relatable.

O Content wise, other products could have been talked
about
O Not enough of the twins interview
O More about the actual cutting of hair, in terms of
techniques
O Some interviews rambled on and weren’t really that
interesting.

scale of 0 -5 in terms of likely they would be to tune in
based on the radio trailer alone.

O The African hair sound clip was intriguing.
O The music was good, set a happy mood in the radio.
O The radio trailer was informative; finished with the
time and channel.
O Slogan was catchy.
Cons
O Background music was too loud at points.

O Interesting image, Grabbed attention
O Slogan was catchy
O Used the same slogan as in the radio trailer.
O Nice and simple, easy to look at. Not distracting.
O The plat made the picture more distinguishable.

O Blue text boxes on a white background made it too
difficult to read the text
O Image was a bit rough, could use tidying up
O Slogan looked as though it was the title of the
program
O Positioning of the head was a bit off, would have
prefered it to be more to the left/right.
Conclusion.
From the feedback I have concluded that
certain aspects of my production could have
used a little bit of refinement, sound levels
and image quality could have been touched
up. We could have also done with sourcing
some more entertaining interviews, as
apparently they were boring.
Some people liked the content, as some of it
was quite interesting and unusual!

  • 2. Documentary feedback In a sample of 4 people, these are their ratings based on 2 factors; the informative and entertaining aspects of the documentary.
  • 4. Documentary feedback Pros. O The Chroma-key elements worked well, using relevant images in the background. O Cutaways gave more meaning to the audio elements of the documentary. O The interview with the twins was interesting. O The Voxpop was interesting, made the documentary more relatable.
  • 5. Documentary feedback cons. O Content wise, other products could have been talked about O Not enough of the twins interview O More about the actual cutting of hair, in terms of techniques O Some interviews rambled on and weren’t really that interesting.

  • 7. Radio trailer feedback Pros O The African hair sound clip was intriguing. O The music was good, set a happy mood in the radio. O The radio trailer was informative; finished with the time and channel. O Slogan was catchy. Cons O Background music was too loud at points.
  • 8. Print Advert feedback. Pros O Interesting image, Grabbed attention O Slogan was catchy O Used the same slogan as in the radio trailer. O Nice and simple, easy to look at. Not distracting. O The plat made the picture more distinguishable.

O Blue text boxes on a white background made it too difficult to read the text O Image was a bit rough, could use tidying up O Slogan looked as though it was the title of the program O Positioning of the head was a bit off, would have prefered it to be more to the left/right.
  • 10. Conclusion. From the feedback I have concluded that certain aspects of my production could have used a little bit of refinement, sound levels and image quality could have been touched up. We could have also done with sourcing some more entertaining interviews, as apparently they were boring. Some people liked the content, as some of it was quite interesting and unusual!
