In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

- 1. What are windows? Windows is a widely used operating system developed by Microsoft Corporation. It is a graphical user interface-based operating system that provides a platform for users to interact with and control their computer hardware and software. Windows was first released in 1985 and has since undergone numerous updates and upgrades to become the robust and versatile operating system that it is today. The Windows operating system is designed to run on a wide range of devices, from personal computers and laptops to tablets and smartphones. It has become one of the most ubiquitous operating systems in the world, with an estimated 1.3 billion active users worldwide as of 2021. One of the key features of Windows is its graphical user interface (GUI), which allows users to interact with their computer using a mouse and keyboard. This interface is made
- 2. up of various graphical elements such as icons, windows, buttons, and menus, which allow users to perform tasks such as opening files, browsing the internet, and running applications. Windows also includes a wide range of built-in applications and tools, such as the Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Additionally, users can download and install third-party applications from the Microsoft Store or other sources. Another important feature of Windows is its file system, which organizes files and folders on a computer's hard drive. Windows uses a hierarchical file system, which means that files are organized in a tree-like structure with folders (directories) at the top level and files within those folders. Windows also includes a number of security features designed to protect users from malware and other threats. These features include Windows Defender, a built-in antivirus program, as well as built-in firewall and encryption tools.
