Critical thinking about television can have both positive and negative impacts. While it can cause problems if it makes parents overly negative, it can also provide enjoyment and information if used constructively. Critical thinking is a process rather than an outcome, involving open-mindedness, skepticism, and persistence. It often begins with questions arising from negative or positive experiences with television programming. Critical thinking involves both rational reasoning and emotional responses, as television first impacts viewers on a feeling level through sights and sounds before engaging cognition.

Why Process Measures Are Often More Important Than Outcome Measures in Health...Health Catalyst
The healthcare industry is currently obsessed with outcome measures — and for good reason. But tracking outcome measures alone is insufficient to reach the goals of better quality and reduced costs. Instead, health systems must get more granular with their data by tracking process measures. Process measures make it possible to identify the root cause of a health system’s failures. They’re the checklists of systematically guaranteeing that the right care will be delivered to every patient, every time. By using these checklists, organizations will be able to improve quality and cost by reducing the amount of variation in care delivery.

As I am a junior student in college, there are many things that worries me while I
am studying. Today, I am going to share a situation related to what I am worried about
the most as a college student. Eventually, what worries me most in my life as a college
student is the grade level of my classes, and making a relationship with friends. So, the
two problems that I am going to talk about are the grades and the relationship. As well
as the self-limiting believes of the problems that trying to convince me.
For example, I am a hardworking student in my studies and I always try to get
the heights grades and excel all other students. However, sometimes I get confused
and stressed out if I have an exam or even homework. I just keep telling myself that I
won’t be able to do it, pass it, and even to pass the course and get a high mark. But,
after the exam and have a feedback of my homework, I reassured myself that I studied
and performed well. Furthermore, making a relationship with other friends makes me
feel uncomfortable. My friends keep telling me that it is good for everyone to have
many friends and be social. But what happened to me in the past made me careful of
not to trust everyone who wants to be a friend with me. Couple years ago, my best
friend was sick and I was with my friend all the time in the hospital. After several days,
my friend got out of the hospital and I noticed that she is not the person that I know. I
have heard from several friends complaining about my friend and I went to ask my
friend about it if it’s true or not. My friend agreed with what they said and after that
didn’t want me to be a friend with him/her. One more thing, the experience that I
recognize from this story is that if I get rid of this stress that makes my life negative, my
studies will be much more better. Also, not to trust everyone.
The greatest risk to me as a college student if I were to fully adopt those self-
limited beliefs is that when I put those believes in my head, I won’t be able to achieve
my goals and success. Furthermore, when I reflect on the problem-saturated story that
I have shared, there are many non-cognitive skills that I have learned about that would
need to focus on developing most to address the problem. The first non-cognitive skill
is that if I keep in mind that I will be able to get a high mark in all my classes, stress
and nothing else will prevent me from doing it. The second non-cognitive skill is that if I
also keep in my mind that not all people are the same and I can make a better
relationship with friends, then everything will be better than I thought. Lastly, there are
a statement about why it will be helpful for me to commit to developing these
problems. One of these statement is that it is very important for everyone to develop
their fears in order to be success in their life.

While doing any work or taking a decision, it is better to trust your instincts. The basic intuitions are always related to social cues. Also, do not disregard facts that disprove your narrative. Trusting your gut makes you more confident. See the mentioned slideshow to know why you should trust your gut.
In life, how to transform your limiting beliefs is a necessity because they are just assumptions you make about reality. They are not true but only interpretations of past events and experiences. These sour ideas do not help or serve you. Instead, they hinder you, blocking you from reaching your goals.
NLP WORKSHOP for the TRAINING OF TRAINERS Neuro-Linguistic Programme 10th June2019-Linguistic Programming is a model about human behavior. It is not a theory because a theory must be proved. On the other hand a model merely has to be tested and if the model yields consistent results; it qualifies as a working model.
Every model is based on pre-suppositions which are assumed to be true. The presuppositions
for any given model are fine tuned till such time that the model yields
consistent results.
1. Everyone lives in and operates from his/her own unique model of the world.
2. People always make the best choices available to them, given their unique model of the world and the situation.
3. There is a desirable solution/possible outcome to every problem.
4. Each person is equipped with everything he/she needs to solve his/her
problems.
5. It is important to separate and distinguish a person from his/her behavior.
When someone is learning something new, it is useful to evaluate the
behaviors while holding constant a positive evaluation of self.
6. All behaviors that people exhibit are motivated by a positive intention or purpose.
There are, to be sure, a plethora of legitimate and valid responses to this question. But the most important thing to remember is that we all have a habit of putting ourselves at the centre of everything and experiencing every incident, discussion, scenario, etc.

1. What are the key Concepts of Critical Thinking in Television watching?
2. Critical thinking is productive and positive activities thinking critically about television can cause many problems for people especially parents. It can be disturbing, inappropriate and time wasting. Thinking critically about television can provides enjoyment and information that can enhance lives. It can increase our understanding of it - so that something positive can be done or learned from it.
3. Critical thinking is a process, not an outcome Critical thinking is about how to think, not what to think. It is an ongoing process that usually begins with questions. The process doesn't end, but often leads to a new question.
4. Where does critical thinking arises from? The critical thinking process arises from a critical attitude or stance. That attitude has been described as "critical-mindedness." It includes curiosity, open-mindedness, skepticism, and persistence. Once developed, critical-mindedness and the critical thinking process can be applied to any text or medium, and to all aspects of life.
5. Critical thinking can be triggered by positive events as well as negative ones It can usually start with something disturbing that "gets people thinking" and causes them to question what they thought they already knew
6. Negative look It is common for parents of young children to start thinking critically and negatively about television after they see the violence of cartoons.
7. Positive look It is also common for parents to encourage children to watch an educational program, and they discover after all that it wasn't boring after all.
8. Thinking differently? Children may start to think differently about what is watched at other times. Parents may start to rethink the assumptions they make about television programs, how their children interpret them, and how they can deal with them.
9. Critical thinking involves feelings as well as reasons many people can think that critical thinking has no room for emotion. They think that being rational and logical is most important, and that emotions can at one point or another get in the way. This is a mistake. It is natural for people to experience anxiety and fear when they start questioning or challenging their own and others' beliefs.
10. Example People may be disappointed to see a program about the special effects used to make something look real, and may resist believing the information. However, that feeling of disappointment could trigger an important critical thinking episode, which could lead to an understanding of the difference between reality and fantasy in television. The feeling of disappointment must be acknowledged before it can lead to new learning.
11. Other emotions people may experience in critical thinking processes are excitement at seeing things in new ways, and increased confidence at feeling more in control of their lives. However, some people may resist thinking critically about ideas they have held for a long time. When people start to doubt ideas or opinions that previously made them feel secure, they can become very uncomfortable. People's feelings, and the struggles they may have with entrenched feelings, need to be respected.
12. People learn from their experiences, and those experiences usually involve the senses and feelings. Television affects feelings first. Sounds, moving pictures, pace of editing, and special effects all combine to give viewers the feeling of an experience. Critical viewers will be able to name those feelings and understand how they influence thinking and affect viewing
