In the story Dirk the Protector the two main characters are Gary and Dirk the dog,

Our team decided to take the opportunity afforded to us by our Technical Writing
course to research something meaningful to the student body that could potentially
impact the future of Virginia Tech. Our instructor, Mr. Andrew Kulak, M.A.,
approved our proposal to investigate student commuter parking on campus to
determine if there were any troubling issues that could affect future innovation
projects for the campus community as a whole. Currently, our findings indicate
that there are indeed issues with the availability of commuter parking on campus.
This issue will increase as Virginia Tech attracts more students who wish to study at
our campus, and as more building projects take up space that was once used for
parking. Prior to the start of Goodwin Hall s construction in 2011, older campus

Bradbury believes that when children are too involved in items, they become

from The Veldt , struggle to discipline their kids, which results in the children not

Uniforms In High School Uniforms
Growing up in parochial schools, uniforms were a part of my daily life. I wore
uniforms for twelve consecutive years, and I feel very strongly that they impacted my
education for the better. I had many friends attending public schools, and though they
got to wear the latest fashion trends and look cute going to school, I felt that they
were at a disadvantage not having uniforms. Uniforms should be implemented in
primary and secondary schools because they enhance self esteem, produce a
conducive learning environment, increase safety, and are cost effective.
It is no surprise that children of all socioeconomic backgrounds, races, religions,
and cultures attend the same schools. Individuality is a beautiful thing, but many
times children seeing differences among their peers allows room for confusion,
animosity, jealousy, and even anger. If a child is insecure about their clothes or

minimize the visual signs of one s financial situation. There is always going to be a
wide range of diversity in schools. This should not change, but as Gulden puts it,
Life has enough hurdles for families and kids; I don t think one of them should be
at school. (Boutelle 36.) Self esteem is a very sensitive thing for kids as they grow
up, and as they go through puberty. Uniforms can boost that self esteem, and help

Maintaining a safe environment for all students, staff, and visitors on campus is one
of the Ohio State University s greatest concerns. As one of the most common and
dangerous threats to student safety, traffic safety is always a vital consideration. Due
to pedestrian complaints, the university has directed their attention Woody Hayes
Drive and Olentangy River Road. The team has been appointed to approach this issue
using a spot speed method. The purpose of this experiment was to collect and
evaluate traffic speed data in the area in order to determine if further action from the
university is necessary to improve traffic safety.

Alhaisoni Rahman (2013) state, English language is playing an important role in
both electronic and print media in Saudi Arabia (p.114). The country has many TV
stations, and one of these stations has all English content. Also, it has a radio
station, which has many English programs. Finally, English has a big role in the
employment system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al seghayer (2012) asserts,
competence in and knowledge of English opens doors for Saudi citizens and gives
the rank and file employees opportunity for advancement (p.2). The country has many
private companies that are established by foreign people who speak the English
language professionally, and they are demanding employees who speak and write
English. So, English is important to employment in Saudi Arabia.
History of English teaching and methodology: Teaching English in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia has undergone several changes. The starting of teaching English was in
1925 (Liton, 2012). This starting point was different between public schools and
private schools. First, the government established public schools, and the Ministry of
Education managed them. As a result, these schools do not charge any tuition to the
people who live in Saudi Arabia. The English language was taught from seventh

Being an industrial worker in the late 19th century in America was not a simple

Problem Statement:
Long ago, fitness clubs used to be a place where people make visit solely for the

longer valid anymore in today s dynamic world. In fact, many of the people today,
primarily the young adults, are patronizing fitness clubs in a group of friends instead

Within this period of time in pursuing this research, it involves compiling the research

out of the research.
In completing the research within the specified time frame, introduction of the fitness
service and the formation of the theories will be completed in the first month, July
2009. On the second month, August 2009, questionnaire will be developed and
distributed to the 300 target respondents and research methodology will be
compiled. On the third month (September, 2009), summation of the research
findings will take place and conclusion of the research can be drawn out from the

Significance of Study:
Throughout this research project, various new insights toward fitness offerings today
can be learned and absorbed to one s knowledge. And this is particularly relevant to
those who are about to work in the fitness industry. In addition, valuable experience
can be gained by exercising the marketing research knowledge learned.
