Your
essay
This assignment is designed to show that
you have fulfilled learning objectives 1
and 2 of the module:
• Find and evaluate information
• Present writing in an academic writing
style
So, this means that in Part 1 you have to show that
you know what type of information you should be
using, why certain types of information are better
than others, and how you find these better
sources. Give some examples of how you have
found specific articles.
For Part 2, you need to summarise the main
argument in each. For the very top marks, you
could consider how they compare and contrast.
This assignment is designed to show that
you have fulfilled learning objectives 1
and 2 of the module:
• Find and evaluate information
• Present writing in an academic writing
style
This also means that you
need to use an academic
writing style throughout.
For example, avoid using
‘I’, and use good
paragraph structures.
Finally, look back at previous week’s resources and
activities, and read through the grading criteria behind
the Assessment Guide on Canvas.
Now you have a chance to start
working on your assignment and
ask me any questions.
• Maybe review some work
rom the past weeks to make
sure you’re read to write
• Maybe start reading article 1
• Maybe start looking at the
three optional articles and
decide which you will use
• The choice is yours!

  • #5 Just talk through all of this to explain further. You could always get up the grading criteria and talk through some of the key features of it.
  • #6 Just talk through all of this to explain further. You could always get up the grading criteria and talk through some of the key features of it.
