Wedding Games And Wedding Games
Wedding games and wedding music all inclusive
A wedding is one of the memorable events in a person's life. Everyone desires his/her wedding to be perfect and entertaining.Sadly;not all weddings turn
out this way. There are some that are boring that guests regret attending them.
A person can hire a good wedding band to make his/her event worth remembering. Musicians are hired to entertain guests and make events lively.
Finding a perfect band isn't as easy as most people tend to think. It is quite a tiresome process.
Both services provided by the band
Most entertainers offer two types of services, namely music and games. These games and music vary depending on the hired musicians. You need to
hire a band for weddings that meets your specific needs.
Here are some things you need to set right before getting into the market to look for a perfect entertainer:
The type of audience that will attend your event.
Your budget
The kind of music you want to be played in your event
Wedding games they offer
You can choose to hire a band for entertainment purposes only if you are running on a limited budget.Alternatively; you can choose both music and
games if you can afford both. Games can make your event more lively when the entertainers are not performing. You can include presents and marks to
make these games interesting. You can involve your selected agency to help you choose a perfect game for your event.
Choosing a wedding band
Entertainers are like shopping. You need to

Navy Band Proposal Essay
Navy Band Proposal: The significance and influence of a Military Band
This analysis will focus on the influence of the United States Navy Band. The Navy band has been around since 1925 gaining a wide range of
musical styles. The Navy Band will be playing at the Frauenthal Theater in downtown Muskegon at 7 pm. I will be analyzing emotional responses from
the audience, the process of coordinating the performance, and responses from the band members.
The United States Navy band performs over 1300 ceremonies and 300 concerts a year for various events, venues, and schools. I have arranged to meet
with the event coordinator, Heather Hanson, to give more insight into the reasoning of booking the band. I will ask questions regarding the financing
behind the concert, as well as what she thinks the benefits are of having the Navy Band perform. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I asked Heather why the event was free when a National band was performing at such a historic building. She explained to me that the Navy Band was
simply going to perform free. Sine there will also be high school students later in the show that will join the performers, the band felt charging to see
them would go against the message they wanted to send. They wanted their performance to symbolize honor for our Country through music, and
involving others, while making it as easy as possible to show that same honor through their attendance. I also asked the event coordinator is this the first
Military band that has performed at the Frauenthal, and if not, how was the attendance. She stated that the Frauenthal has had bands from the Army,
and Marines perform there and that both times attendance was between 50%–85%, being that the Army had the most attendance. She explained how
most of the attendees had some connection to the Military and most were between the ages of 33–65 years

Mirror Reflection
Who is the boy I see in the mirror? He is over–weighted, unsuccessful, paranoid, and insecure. It was a grotesque reflection of myself and a
visualization of a loser. So I was frequently scared to confront my true–self in the mirror and ignored my fundamental problem. When I devoured three
plates of lasagna and every sip of the cream soup that would add another pound of fat and flesh to my stomach, "you should control your eating
habits," "stopped" were two of the many concerned advice that I commonly heard in a daily basis. But all of them did not understand what I was
going through. People always said that the scoops of ice cream and a stack of waffles were the problem for me, but it was more than what meets the
eye for my situation.
The stacking piles of homework and the mean test scores that always ignored the effort I put in gave me so much frustration and stress. To overcome
all this, I always found myself reflected in the mirror holding a melting chocolate bar in my one hand and my pencil on the other, sitting next to a pile
of snacks. However, as the weight gauge points to a new higher number everyday, I got more stress from the humiliating number and the thoughts of
others judging my appearance that led me to opening another candy bar. It was a vicious cycle.
"I look horrible," "My grades are terrible." These were some of the words that always flew around my mind when passing by other people in school.
However, I always covered all these depression with a smile

Essay On Fall Out Boy
Save Rock and Roll
After a long tragic four–year break–up the boys are back and determined to save rock and roll. If their comeback suggests delusion of grandeur, they're
only picking up where they left off.
Fall Out Boy (FOB) is an American rock band from Illinois that originated in 2001, from 2001 to present time the band has released a total of nine
albums, twenty–one singles. The band has sold a total of 7.5 million albums. Sadly in 2010 the band called a quits as Wentz was becoming a father, and
Stump went on to do a solo album "Solo Punk". In FOB decided just like any other rock band that they could burn out or fade away, so in 2013 they
staged a comeback... "Save Rock and Roll"

Fall out Boy really tried to make the lyrics relatable and to make the audience feel something. The word "fire" and the concept of "burning" is a
recurring theme. In the song "The Phoenix," Stump belts out "You're wearing our vintage misery. No, I think it looked a little better on me" and
in the song "Miss Missing You" the chores "The person that you'd take a bullet for is behind the trigger" really shows the raw emotion. This whole
album is showing the battle with internal conflicts rather than external ones. Struggling to grow up, being jealous of the young, feeling betrayed in
love, missing past happiness. The single, "Just One Yesterday," which discusses wanting an ex back, while also wanting them to pay for hurting
you "I'm here to give you all of my love, so I can watch your face as I take it all away". The band then raps up the final song on the album with
"Save Rock and Roll," with guest star Elton John. This song was for the fans one hundred percent, basically saying that they go away again. The band

Dave Matthews Band Vs. Big Eyed Phish
WHO WE ARE There is no better cover band for the Dave Matthews Band than the Big Eyed Phish. Led by Brandon DePaul, this band is the only one
who managed to recreate the music line–up and styling of Dave Matthews Band as a tribute. Dave Matthews Band is also known simply as DMB.
This was an American band who came to be in 1991, and known to have taken a top stop on the Billboard charts for 6 times with their debuted
albums. They established their dominance in the music world by selling more than 50 million records worldwide in 2010. The reputation of Dave

Oliver Goldsmith 's The Deserted Village
Over an incredibly short career of only fifteen years, Oliver Goldsmith captured a large audience of British readers through his novels, poems, plays,
and other publications. Born on November 10th, 1730, Goldsmith grew up a happy child in rural Ireland, an experience that affected most of his work.
After attending 6 different schools, he entered Trinity College in Dublin, and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in 1750. In 1752, Goldsmith studied
medicine in Edinburgh, dropped out, and traveled Europe ("Oliver Goldsmith"). After a planned move to India failed, he focused on writing and moved
to England in 1756, creating several publications which would have brought him great wealth, if not for his habit of gambling. Publications such as ...

His selfishness is realized when he admits that he "still had hopes...there to return––and die at home at last", revealing that he simply wants the village
there for his personal gain (Goldsmith 95–96). Even worse, he recognizes that the peasants live in poverty, yet describes them as "very blest"
(Goldsmith 426). Goldsmith fails to recognize that people often move only when it betters their current situation. Oliver Goldsmith is not the only
author who argues against the loss of culture. The Dave Matthews Band also speaks out against this in their song "Don't Drink the Water". This song
is aimed at the expatriation of Native Americans, but also touches on the loss of culture from wealth. "Don't Drink the Water" is narrated through the
eyes of a member of the encroaching populace, who says "Your father's spirit lives in this place / I will silence you." (Dave Matthews Band 21–22).
These lines show the culture of the natives, or "father's spirit", is being destroyed by "greedy need", or wealth (Dave Matthews Band 42, 21). The
same message is voiced when Goldsmith laments that "...Trade's unfeeling train", which represents wealth, "Usurp the land and dispossess the swain.",
or strip culture from the youth, who carry the responsibility of continuing tradition (Goldsmith 64). While the song and poem

Dave Matthews Band
Formed in 1991, The Dave Matthews Band is composed of the widely varied musical interests of five musicians to create a uniquely impressive
sound that combines the influences of folk, Jazz, rock, world beat, and reggae. South African David Matthews, the band's lead guitarist, began to
assemble the players in 1991 to accompany him on a demo tape of original songs. Matthews, at the time was a bartender at a Charlottesville, Va.Jazz
venue, called Millers. Matthews decided to approach the area musicians he most respected, and invite them to listen to his musical ideas. He
approached Leroi Moore and Carter Beauford first, two musicians that he respected greatly. After listening to a few songs he had ... Show more content

random gigs and taping the BET show. When Matthews heard Carter was back in Virginia, he decided to approach him about making the demo tape.
Matthews, Beauford, and Moore then approached Stefan
Lessard, who at 16, was already an accomplished upright bass player The trio asked
Stefan to play electric bass guitar for the newly forming band. Lessard was already a very well respected bass player in the Jazz circles of Virginia.
He converted to the electric bass for the band. The bass is really the only non "acoustic" instrument in the band. Sometimes, though, Lessard uses the
upright. Stefan considers revolutionary bass player Jaco
Pastorius to be his greatest musical influence. While recording the demo one of the tunes seemed to need a supporting violin, the group then sought out
Boyd Tinsely who was a classical violinist until 1985, when he switched over to rock and roll. Before joining Dave, Carter, Leroi, and Stefan, Boyd
played with a few local outfits. He had his Boyd Tinsley Band, which he continued to play with until 93, and he played with Down Boy Down, an
acoustic duo that played fraternity parties and college bars around Charlottesville. After playing with the new band on the demo tape, Tinsley
approached Dave and Carter and asked to join. Now for

How Did Bob Dylan Affect The Creation Of Folk Music?
On July 25, 1965 at the Newport Music festival Ronnie Gilbert announced bob Dylan to the audience "And here he is...take him, you know him, he's
yours." Bob Dylan accompanied by guitarist Al Kooper and The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, began to play "Maggie's Farm" in an electrified form.
The crowd also became electrified booing and yelling loud enough to drown the sound of the Bob Dylan and all the musicians. The fans did not know
that six weeks earlier, Bob Dylan had recorded the classic hit "Like A Rolling Stone". The fans were upset, they were expecting a Bob Dylan acoustic
guitar performance, instead they were unknowing witnessing a rock and roll historical event.
Bob Dylan musical roots are in rock and roll, he only began to write and folk music in college. While attending the University of Minnesota, Bob
Dylan played folk music in Coffee houses and attracted a bohemian crowd that was trying make changes in american society. The uproar was that his
music was part of a movement and to change to a music genre that was mainstream and commercial, and abandon his political folk music was
devastating to the war and civil rights movement. Some fans even tried to rename him Judas. Bob Dylan was no longer a folk artist, but a creator of
folk rock and roll.

Alt-Rock Grunge Band: The 1975
"The 1975" is an alt–rock grunge band formed in 2002 by Matthew Healy, current frontman. The band consists of four members: Matty as guitarist and
lead singer, Adam Hann as rhythmic guitarist, Ross Macdonald as bassist, and George Daniel as drummer. They met each other at school as young
teenagers in Manchester, England. Matty, being only thirteen at the time, had lofty aspirations to be alongside his idol Michael Jackson in fame. The
juvenile group recorded YouTube videos in their basements, and did mere gigs at local bars. They introduced themselves by covering aged punk songs,
but soon began writing their own content (Kurr).

They spend their every waking moment with each other. Even without the inclusion of how small tour buses are, the four are inseparable. George
Daniel and Matty have the strongest connection within the band. They've lived together, they write together, and they've devised all of this madness
together. Speculations of the two dating have been made continually, but have not been confirmed or denied (The 1975).
Practice is an obsession of the band. In Healy's mind, good is not enough. The group is perpetually doing everything they can to improve the band
from late night practices, to even ignoring their management. "They've been here since Sunday night. I tried to tell them to go away. They don't care."
A tour manager spoke about the band's excessive rehearsals. Providing for their fans is their source of happiness and without being nearly perfect, they
will not settle for any less (Garvey).
The 1975 is an eccentric band. Not only are they unpredictable, but they change from song to song. Each song to the men is like a piece of art. They
utilize their time wisely, capturing a feel and adding poetic lyrics to tell a story. George and Matty put their critiques together and make everything
happen. The controversial, fourteen year old band is not only problematic, but what will be put in history as glamourous

Record Store Day Hits Vegas
This next Saturday April 22nd Las Vegas, and every major city in the US will be celebrating the 10th edition of Record Store Day, an initiative
started on the U.S. and now turned into a worldwide event. As the means through which we consume our music have shifted over the past decade,
record stores have slowly become victims of new media, like MP3 digital files and more recently, streaming services. Back in the year of 2007,
independent record store owners and their employees met to discuss ways to save their industry, and they brainstormed this idea of Record Store
Day, which was in part modeled after a similar event, which focused on celebrating and promoting comic book culture. This once a year event has
proven to significantly increase the traffic and profits for independent record stores, an achievement made possible through the collaboration of artists

The Importance Of Organising A Local Live Music Event
Four piece indie rock band The Reveurs reached out to promoters to assemble a live music event celebrating the release of new single, Control. The
process of organising a local live music event involved various procedures, personnel, strategies and considerations. This document clarifies the
preparation of the launch, supported by industry resources and the development of accordance. The project was conceived seven weeks prior to the
event by headlining band, The Reveurs. Band members had a preconceived idea of what they expected from the event. Due to the nature of the event,
it was most appropriate to book a promoter who would manage all elements rather than paying a sizable fee to an event management company. The
promoter was expected to examine and determine all of the clients' requirements through briefing. "Asking too few questions or not listening adequately
to a client's answers can compromise the success of the event you plan" (Entrepreneur Press, 2010, p.28). Arguably, the interaction between the client
and the promoter is the most vital due to the communication between the two parties being the starting point of the project. Various factors were of
greater importance such as the purpose and date of the event, whilst other factors were subject to compromise. Any event serves to gather a crowd with
a common interest and in the case of a musical experience, the musicians serve to entertain an audience. With regard to The Reveurs single launch, the

Comparison Between Oasis And Dave Matthews Band
When one thinks of rock and roll there is a whole list of adjectives to describe a band. The groups can go from laid back to an in your face, ultra loud
show of shows. There are many differences in rock bands and none is greater than the deviation between
Oasis and Dave Matthews Band. From upbringing to influences, the differences are represented in the music and those who live for it.
They might be under the same category but there are very few comparisons that are so far apart.
Oasis is the foremost representative of a working class band. Their hometown of Manchester, England is a tough town of industry. The people are

Drugs were a major part of the bands early years and so was hard, ear blasting rock and roll. Matthews once criticized this behavior by Oasis as he
proclaimed his own virginity in the drug world.
In typical Oasis fashion, Matthews was dismissed with swear words and the raising of a certain finger.
Perhaps the biggest difference between the two bands is their music and fan base. Oasis is known for literally playing at maximum level, while
Matthews has a mellower and almost soothing concert sound level. He also has a very limited stage with little lighting as compared to Oasis'
dazzling effects that seem to pulse with the music. These flashing lights seem to activate the rowdy crowd found at the typical Oasis show. The model
fan is ready to jump for two hours straight and they are the complete opposites of the usual Dave
Matthews Band fan.
While the Oasis fan hops, you notice they casually dress in plain pants and striped T–shirts. The Dave Matthews fan is uniformly dressed in Old Navy
clothing and preppy khaki pants.
They are concerned how close they look like the person next to them and the Oasis fan wears whatever is most clean when they wake up. In essence,
the Oasis fan cares about the music and not the scene. A
Dave Matthew's concert is more of a college event than a rock concert.
Overall, the difference between the two is more than clothing or lights. It is about the music and about the people who flock for it by the

Biography of Sylvester Stewart
Sly Stone was born in Dallas, Texas on March 15th, 1944. Sly Stone's original birth name was Sylvester Stewart which later he selected to change
his name for the stage as Sly Stone after becoming a producer for Autumn Records. Known for creating some of the best funk music of his time,
Stone also collaborated with other styles of music such as soul, rock, gospel, and psychedelia. He influenced Motown and Stax as well which were
the two most popular record companies producing blues, jazz, and soul music. Stone's voice was raspy, yet when he sang, he sang with upbeat and
good vibe lyrics. Stone had a new style of music being created with his band, a style in which held attitude and a point of view on what they believed
in. Sly and the Family Stone was an integrated band of blacks, whites, women, and men. The freedom that everyone heard within the lyrics of Stone and
the band, painted a picture of how the band wanted the world to be. The band, especially Stone, held a vision of a utopia for the world they lived in.
Stone mastered many instruments at a young age, but Stone was heard on the records mainly through this vocals being the head singer and songwriter.

I Stand Here Ironing, an Analysis Essay
"I Stand Here Ironing" by Tillie Olsen is a short story that talks about a handicapped child. Emily had to struggle a whole lot on her short life, but at
the end she proved to be a very strong child. Tillie Olsen's characterization of Emily shows a strong female protagonist who overcomes numerous odds:
loneliness, humbleness, vulnerability, and her disability.
The story is based on a child named Emily that has a physical disability. Emily lived in a family of five children. "She always had a reason why we
should stay home" (Olsen 601). Emily is lonely. When she was a toddler, she was left in a day care so Emily's mom could bring income to the house.

She was looking for a way to keep her mom within her reach. Unfortunately her mom had to go to the hospital and have a baby. "Susan telling jokes
and riddles to company for applause while Emily sat silent (to say to me later: that was my riddle, Mother, I told it to Susan)" (Olson 603). Emily was a
child that did not have any envy towards her sister Susan, because she was so much different in many aspects. The difference of the age did not
interfere. Emily was always willing to play and teach her sister new things. They shared so many things and enjoyed the company of each other. Their
mother sometimes would keep Emily home so they could spend time together. Emily would take advantage of her illnesses, so her mom would keep
her home.
Emily is very vulnerable mostly because of her appearance. "She tormented herself enough about not looking like the others, there was enough of the
unsureness, the having to be conscious of works before you speak, the constant caring–what are they thinking of me? Without having it all magnified
by the merciless physical drivers" (Olson 603). Emily is a skinny, fragile, and sick child, and in the outer world, other kids without values would
point her out. Emily is always insecure about what she says, or does in front of others. The insecurity of not being able to be her own person is always
on her mind.
Emily spends time with her mother at night time. She makes

Research Paper Dave Matthews
There are many phenomenal musicians in the world, but very few as diverse and cultured as Dave Matthews. Matthews was born in Johannesburg,
South Africa, in 1967. Matthews and his family then moved two years later to Westchester County, New York, where his dad went to work for IBM.
Then, in the early `70s, Matthews and his family moved to Cambridge, England, before returning to New York. It was in Cambridge where Matthews'
dad died in 1977 from Hodgkin's disease. After his father's death, the family moved back to South Africa in 1980. It was here that Matthews went to a
few different schools and learned more about the evils of government, there and in general.

The Dave Matthews Band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in early 1991, when Matthews decided to put some songs he had written on tape.
Instead of simply recording himself with a guitar, he instead decided to bring in some instrumental help to give his musical ideas more depth. His
first move was finding the right people to play the parts in his band that he decided fit. He began his search and formed the racially integrated band
that is now known worldwide and are continuously ranked in the top five for the largest grossing concert tours of the year. The key roles were soon
filled by phenomenal musicians in the area. Dave found assistance in drummer Carter Beauford and saxophonist LeRoi Moore who were both
accomplished jazz musicians in the local Charlottesville music scene. Based on the recommendation of distinguished local jazz guru John D'earth,
16–year–old musical prodigy Stefan Lessard came on board to play bass. Completing the band was keyboard player Peter Griesar, who left the band
after a couple of years, as well as the talented and classically trained violinist, Boyd Tinsley The band was finally formed, and they played their first

Analysis Of The Book ' Clancy '
Clancy Today I found a pack will this book filled with no words, 50 pencils tied together with some sort of rubber band, a blade, water bottles, a
wet blanket, and pillow. I set the book out to dry along with the blanket and pillow in the sun. I boiled the water in the bottle just to be safe and
then put it back in the bottles. The blade and pencils went in a basket I weaved out of tall grass. Next, I went on a patrol of the island, or I just
went on a walk around the island. The island is a 2 mile walk around the outside and I usually walk it twice, so that 's 4 miles a day if my

How long have you been here?" I ask " A couple hours maybe give or take." She says smiling. " So," she starts walking and looks back at me still

The song consist of four stanzas: three that tell stories of people's lives, and the last a riddle which brings comedy into the song. In the first stanza
we are introduced to Cyrus Jones. "Cyrus Jones 1810 to 1913,/ made his great grandchildren believe you could live to 100 and 3/ a 100 and 3, is
forever when you're just a little kid so/ Cyrus Jones lived forever. " The second stanza allows us to meet Muriel Stonewall. She lived 51 years and
during those years in her life, was forced to send her sons off in World War II, and then bury them. By the time we are introduced to Mickey
Carson, the melody and voice in the song are increased, which intensifies the listener's curiosity of what the narrator is talking about. Mickey Carson
rode his bike and longed to be like Mr. Vertigo on the flying trapeze, he died at 62. Their live and their deaths are treated delicately in the song, but
then laid uncovered in the video. Yes, besides being a great–grandfather, Cyrus Jones was also a slave, and yes, you see his lashing at his master's
hands. The fresh scars are hard to ignore, as are the tears of Murial Stonewall, who "lost both of her babies in the second great war." Along with the
description of the characters, Dave uses literary devices to make his song more descriptive and makes

Dave Matthews Band's album Crash was their second major–label release and debatably one of their most popular albums, as well. The band is made
up of multiple brilliant musicians consists of the violinist Boyd Tinsley, carter Beauford the drummer, Dave Matthews the main singer, as well as,
guitarist, bassist Stefan Lessard, and finally Leroi Moore playing the saxophone (Dmb Tour Members). Dave Matthews Band was started in early 1991
and has only grown bigger and better throughout the years making them a statement band in our society. The twelve song album bounces from upbeat
to mellow songs in a perfect blend that fits together so outstandingly.

This song is also about society being too greedy and never being satisfied with what they have and always wanting more.
"#41" is named so because it was the forty–first song the band recorded. It's about Dave losing someone you love and wanting them back. Dave is
saying he knows she might need some time but he's ready and tries to go slow, "I'm coming slow but speeding," but his feelings are too strong and he
will do whatever it takes to convince her even if it hurts him in the end (Lyrics). It also references his rise to fame and people coming to him for that
rather than the music.
The sixth song on the album is "Say Goodbye" expressing Dave's desire for a friend. Throughout the song he's talking about taking this relationship to
the next level even though he knows that everything will change after this night, but he's trying to convince himself that it won't.
"Drive in drive out" features Dave singing with a much raspier deeper voice then most the other songs. This song references an on again off again
relationship. This is apparent in the line, "Drive in drive out, I'm leaving, drive in drive out, I'll come back again", as in he leaves the relationship
(drive out) and then comes back to it again (drive in) (Lyrics). It also showcases the band's drummer Carter Beauford's phenomenal musical talent.
A majority of the beginning of the song, "Lie In Our Graves" talks about walking by the water and Dave wandering through the wilderness for a

There Are All Kinds Of Music
There are all kinds of "emo" type of music/songs. Adults would think that emo music is the cause for all the suicides, depression, self–harm, homicide
and what not, but it is not completely true. Emo music is must more than adults bargain for. Emo music have real deep meanings in their lyrics, they
may have some "dark" language in their music, but some bands don 't mean for it to influence others. Emo music helps those who need to escape from
reality and enter the world of music. Emo music may not be rap, hip hop, or classical, but emo music is like a therapist; trying to help those who

are fake. Black Veils Brides is a good example for the guardian angel. Black Veil Brides is a popular heavy metal/rock band who claim to be
something as The Ultimate Outcasts, due to their eccentric looks and rough childhoods from bullying for being different and unique. They have

Personal Narrative: How Music Therapy Changed My Life
When I started band, I was in the sixth grade, which was a year later than a lot of people in my band. Neither my parents or step–parents were in band,
so they were hesitant to let me join. Once I was in Mr. Sacco's music class, and got to experience what his personality was like (super fun, caring,
and spunky), and told my parents. I joined band immediately, or as soon as I could, sixth grade. Even though I was a year behind, my band
director as well as the others in my section helped me a lot. Since the beginning of my band experience, I have made many close friendships and
had a ton of amazing experiences that may not have happened if it weren't for band. Everyone always has the most fun on band related trips, from
going to auditions, to going to Florida for a week. It has truly been an honor to be in the Ava Pride Band for the past seven years.
Coming soon, I have my audition to be in the band at Drury. I've auditioned for many things, including the District band, our local SCA conference
band, State band, and even just for my band directors for the seating chart. I'm very nervous, but recently I've started going to private lessons ... Show

Controversy Of Advertisement
Argumentative Essay
In today's society the only way to become a famous musician is to have good music that fans will like. One of the ways fans learn about an artist's
new songs is through ads. A fan would be watching TV or listening to music on their smartphone, and an ad might pop up with their favorite artist's
new song. The fan would most likely wonder what is was and download it. Artists should continue to allow their music to be placed in advertisements
because it helps them earn money, and it can help them get recognized.
First, using ads can help the artist earn more money. Some artists only make U.S. minimum wage for their music, so advertising and making corporate
deals can really help. A band called Oh, Sleeper is an example. "Out ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sometimes fans will feel betrayed when they see their favorite song in a burger commercial and instead of gaining popularity the artist will actually
lose it and get very strong negative feedback. "Take U2 for example–one of the world's most popular rock bands who after, landing a deal with Apple
that had their 2014 album Songs of Innocence installed into 500 million iTunes subscribers' libraries for free, faces a storm of negative feedback
from fans and critics alike. People resented the idea that an album they didn't ask for was forced on them, likening the album to "musical spam," and
the reputations of both U2 and Apple were damaged." (Source 2 Paragraph 8) Although doing this can hurt the reputation of artists it can help them as
well. They can earn way more money, get famous quickly and live a good life. It is a risk artists are willing to take because making music is their
livelihood not just their hobby.
To conclude, signing off songs, albums, and making commercials can be a risk, there are way more benefits than cons. Besides if an artist doesn't
want his or her music on streaming apps, they can just tell those companies to stop streaming their music, which may increase sales of downloads of
an artist's music since it is not being streamed. Everyone knows that ads help and making deals help so why make a big deal? It is an artist's choice
and if they want to

One leadership strengths I possess is that I am a very good public speaker and am able to easily address a group of people whether it is a big or small

at a list of accolades that this band has garnard throughout its career. History The Dave Matthews Band was founded in 1991 in Charlottesville, VA.

In 1991 Leroi Moore was an associate of Carter Beauford also playing in the band Blue Indigo and a local legend on the Jazz scene as well. Playing
with John D'earth Quintet saw Leroi as a regular weekly show at Miller's where much like Carter Beauford he was approached to assist Dave
Matthews with musical accompaniment to his songs. Leroi Moore stayed with DMB till his passing in August 2008 due to complications from an
ATV accident he had early that year. Stefan Lessard was still in high school when the idea of the Dave Matthews Band was coming together.
Lessard's serious and tireless attitude toward playing the bass lead his high school music teacher to introduce him to the local Jazz scene, he was
soon playing next to local greats Carter Beauford and Leroi Moore. When DMB was being formed the young Lessard became a natural choice to fill
the spot of bass player and was ultimately asked to join the band at the age of

Imagine Dragons Album Cover Essay
Two hands are bound in a golden tape, in the middle of the cover. All the surrounding is very dark so they are the principal subject of the album
cover. The only light present in this image comes in front of the hands, and it makes all the particular detailed. All the anatomical details are very
visible and they make the hands realistic. At the height of the wrists there are many spider webs that link the hands to the two bottom corners of the
album cover.
Right above the palms of the hands there is a bird that flies up to the top of the cover, it's plausible that it was freed by the hands after a long time. In
the middle of the cover there is the band's name, Imagine Dragons, and the album's name, Smoke + Mirrors. The text is white and it ... Show more

The title Smoke + Mirrors is a clear reference to the way of saying "It is just smoke and mirrors". This metaphor is based on magicians' illusions.
They make the audience think that objects magically appear and disappear by extending or retracting mirrors amid a distracting burst of smoke. It
can also be referred to the computer programming language, where it is used to describe a program that does not yet exist, but appears as though it
does. That is why the title Smoke + Mirrors has a fundamental role in evoking the sense of

Everyone desires his/her wedding to be perfect and entertaining.Sadly;not all weddings turn out this way. There are some that are boring that guests regret attending them. A person can hire a good wedding band to make his/her event worth remembering. Musicians are hired to entertain guests and make events lively. Finding a perfect band isn't as easy as most people tend to think. It is quite a tiresome process. Both services provided by the band Most entertainers offer two types of services, namely music and games. These games and music vary depending on the hired musicians. You need to hire a band for weddings that meets your specific needs. Here are some things you need to set right before getting into the market to look for a perfect entertainer: The type of audience that will attend your event. Your budget The kind of music you want to be played in your event Wedding games they offer You can choose to hire a band for entertainment purposes only if you are running on a limited budget.Alternatively; you can choose both music and games if you can afford both. • 2. Navy Band Proposal Essay Navy Band Proposal: The significance and influence of a Military Band This analysis will focus on the influence of the United States Navy Band. The Navy band has been around since 1925 gaining a wide range of musical styles. The Navy Band will be playing at the Frauenthal Theater in downtown Muskegon at 7 pm. I will be analyzing emotional responses from the audience, the process of coordinating the performance, and responses from the band members. The United States Navy band performs over 1300 ceremonies and 300 concerts a year for various events, venues, and schools. I have arranged to meet with the event coordinator, Heather Hanson, to give more insight into the reasoning of booking the band. I will ask questions regarding the financing behind the concert, as well as what she thinks the benefits are of having the Navy Band perform. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I asked Heather why the event was free when a National band was performing at such a historic building. She explained to me that the Navy Band was simply going to perform free. Sine there will also be high school students later in the show that will join the performers, the band felt charging to see them would go against the message they wanted to send. They wanted their performance to symbolize honor for our Country through music, and involving others, while making it as easy as possible to show that same honor through their attendance. I also asked the event coordinator is this the first Military band that has performed at the Frauenthal, and if not, how was the attendance. She stated that the Frauenthal has had bands from the Army, and Marines perform there and that both times attendance was between 50%–85%, being that the Army had the most attendance. She explained how most of the attendees had some connection to the Military and most were between the ages of 33–65 years ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Mirror Reflection Who is the boy I see in the mirror? He is over–weighted, unsuccessful, paranoid, and insecure. It was a grotesque reflection of myself and a visualization of a loser. So I was frequently scared to confront my true–self in the mirror and ignored my fundamental problem. When I devoured three plates of lasagna and every sip of the cream soup that would add another pound of fat and flesh to my stomach, "you should control your eating habits," "stopped" were two of the many concerned advice that I commonly heard in a daily basis. But all of them did not understand what I was going through. People always said that the scoops of ice cream and a stack of waffles were the problem for me, but it was more than what meets the eye for my situation. The stacking piles of homework and the mean test scores that always ignored the effort I put in gave me so much frustration and stress. To overcome all this, I always found myself reflected in the mirror holding a melting chocolate bar in my one hand and my pencil on the other, sitting next to a pile of snacks. However, as the weight gauge points to a new higher number everyday, I got more stress from the humiliating number and the thoughts of others judging my appearance that led me to opening another candy bar. It was a vicious cycle. "I look horrible," "My grades are terrible." These were some of the words that always flew around my mind when passing by other people in school. However, I always covered all these depression with a smile ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Essay On Fall Out Boy Save Rock and Roll After a long tragic four–year break–up the boys are back and determined to save rock and roll. If their comeback suggests delusion of grandeur, they're only picking up where they left off. Fall Out Boy (FOB) is an American rock band from Illinois that originated in 2001, from 2001 to present time the band has released a total of nine albums, twenty–one singles. The band has sold a total of 7.5 million albums. Sadly in 2010 the band called a quits as Wentz was becoming a father, and Stump went on to do a solo album "Solo Punk". In FOB decided just like any other rock band that they could burn out or fade away, so in 2013 they staged a comeback... "Save Rock and Roll" This album shows diversity in the band; during this album the band decided to try something different and add guest ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Fall out Boy really tried to make the lyrics relatable and to make the audience feel something. The word "fire" and the concept of "burning" is a recurring theme. In the song "The Phoenix," Stump belts out "You're wearing our vintage misery. No, I think it looked a little better on me" and in the song "Miss Missing You" the chores "The person that you'd take a bullet for is behind the trigger" really shows the raw emotion. This whole album is showing the battle with internal conflicts rather than external ones. Struggling to grow up, being jealous of the young, feeling betrayed in love, missing past happiness. The single, "Just One Yesterday," which discusses wanting an ex back, while also wanting them to pay for hurting you "I'm here to give you all of my love, so I can watch your face as I take it all away". The band then raps up the final song on the album with "Save Rock and Roll," with guest star Elton John. This song was for the fans one hundred percent, basically saying that they go away again. Led by Brandon DePaul, this band is the only one who managed to recreate the music line–up and styling of Dave Matthews Band as a tribute. Dave Matthews Band is also known simply as DMB. • 6. Oliver Goldsmith 's The Deserted Village Over an incredibly short career of only fifteen years, Oliver Goldsmith captured a large audience of British readers through his novels, poems, plays, and other publications. Born on November 10th, 1730, Goldsmith grew up a happy child in rural Ireland, an experience that affected most of his work. After attending 6 different schools, he entered Trinity College in Dublin, and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in 1750. In 1752, Goldsmith studied medicine in Edinburgh, dropped out, and traveled Europe ("Oliver Goldsmith"). After a planned move to India failed, he focused on writing and moved to England in 1756, creating several publications which would have brought him great wealth, if not for his habit of gambling. Publications such as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... His selfishness is realized when he admits that he "still had hopes...there to return––and die at home at last", revealing that he simply wants the village there for his personal gain (Goldsmith 95–96). Even worse, he recognizes that the peasants live in poverty, yet describes them as "very blest" (Goldsmith 426). Goldsmith fails to recognize that people often move only when it betters their current situation. Oliver Goldsmith is not the only author who argues against the loss of culture. The Dave Matthews Band also speaks out against this in their song "Don't Drink the Water". This song is aimed at the expatriation of Native Americans, but also touches on the loss of culture from wealth. "Don't Drink the Water" is narrated through the eyes of a member of the encroaching populace, who says "Your father's spirit lives in this place / I will silence you." (Dave Matthews Band 21–22). These lines show the culture of the natives, or "father's spirit", is being destroyed by "greedy need", or wealth (Dave Matthews Band 42, 21). The same message is voiced when Goldsmith laments that "...Trade's unfeeling train", which represents wealth, "Usurp the land and dispossess the swain.", or strip culture from the youth, who carry the responsibility of continuing tradition (Goldsmith 64). • 7. Dave Matthews Band Research Paper Dave Matthews Band Formed in 1991, The Dave Matthews Band is composed of the widely varied musical interests of five musicians to create a uniquely impressive sound that combines the influences of folk, Jazz, rock, world beat, and reggae. South African David Matthews, the band's lead guitarist, began to assemble the players in 1991 to accompany him on a demo tape of original songs. Matthews, at the time was a bartender at a Charlottesville, Va.Jazz venue, called Millers. Matthews decided to approach the area musicians he most respected, and invite them to listen to his musical ideas. He approached Leroi Moore and Carter Beauford first, two musicians that he respected greatly. After listening to a few songs he had ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After he failed to make it into the Arsenio band, Carter landed a job on pianist Ramsey Lewis's BET Jazz show, "Bet on Jazz." In January of 1991, Carter moved back to Charlottesville, playing random gigs and taping the BET show. When Matthews heard Carter was back in Virginia, he decided to approach him about making the demo tape. Matthews, Beauford, and Moore then approached Stefan Lessard, who at 16, was already an accomplished upright bass player The trio asked Stefan to play electric bass guitar for the newly forming band. Lessard was already a very well respected bass player in the Jazz circles of Virginia. He converted to the electric bass for the band. The bass is really the only non "acoustic" instrument in the band. Sometimes, though, Lessard uses the upright. Stefan considers revolutionary bass player Jaco Pastorius to be his greatest musical influence. While recording the demo one of the tunes seemed to need a supporting violin, the group then sought out Boyd Tinsely who was a classical violinist until 1985, when he switched over to rock and roll. Before joining Dave, Carter, Leroi, and Stefan, Boyd played with a few local outfits. He had his Boyd Tinsley Band, which he continued to play with until 93, and he played with Down Boy Down, an acoustic duo that played fraternity parties and college bars around Charlottesville. • 8. How Did Bob Dylan Affect The Creation Of Folk Music? On July 25, 1965 at the Newport Music festival Ronnie Gilbert announced bob Dylan to the audience "And here he is...take him, you know him, he's yours." Bob Dylan accompanied by guitarist Al Kooper and The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, began to play "Maggie's Farm" in an electrified form. The crowd also became electrified booing and yelling loud enough to drown the sound of the Bob Dylan and all the musicians. They met each other at school as young teenagers in Manchester, England. Matty, being only thirteen at the time, had lofty aspirations to be alongside his idol Michael Jackson in fame. The Importance Of Organising A Local Live Music Event Four piece indie rock band The Reveurs reached out to promoters to assemble a live music event celebrating the release of new single, Control. The process of organising a local live music event involved various procedures, personnel, strategies and considerations. This document clarifies the preparation of the launch, supported by industry resources and the development of accordance. The project was conceived seven weeks prior to the event by headlining band, The Reveurs. Band members had a preconceived idea of what they expected from the event. Due to the nature of the event, it was most appropriate to book a promoter who would manage all elements rather than paying a sizable fee to an event management company. The promoter was expected to examine and determine all of the clients' requirements through briefing. "Asking too few questions or not listening adequately to a client's answers can compromise the success of the event you plan" (Entrepreneur Press, 2010, p.28). Arguably, the interaction between the client and the promoter is the most vital due to the communication between the two parties being the starting point of the project. Various factors were of greater importance such as the purpose and date of the event, whilst other factors were subject to compromise. Any event serves to gather a crowd with a common interest and in the case of a musical experience, the musicians serve to entertain an audience. This song is also about society being too greedy and never being satisfied with what they have and always wanting more. "#41" is named so because it was the forty–first song the band recorded. It's about Dave losing someone you love and wanting them back. Dave is saying he knows she might need some time but he's ready and tries to go slow, "I'm coming slow but speeding," but his feelings are too strong and he will do whatever it takes to convince her even if it hurts him in the end (Lyrics). It also references his rise to fame and people coming to him for that rather than the music. The sixth song on the album is "Say Goodbye" expressing Dave's desire for a friend. Throughout the song he's talking about taking this relationship to the next level even though he knows that everything will change after this night, but he's trying to convince himself that it won't. "Drive in drive out" features Dave singing with a much raspier deeper voice then most the other songs. This song references an on again off again relationship. This is apparent in the line, "Drive in drive out, I'm leaving, drive in drive out, I'll come back again", as in he leaves the relationship (drive out) and then comes back to it again (drive in) (Lyrics). It also showcases the band's drummer Carter Beauford's phenomenal musical talent. Adults would think that emo music is the cause for all the suicides, depression, self–harm, homicide and what not, but it is not completely true. Emo music is must more than adults bargain for. Emo music have real deep meanings in their lyrics, they may have some "dark" language in their music, but some bands don 't mean for it to influence others. Emo music helps those who need to escape from reality and enter the world of music. • 31. Personal Narrative: How Music Therapy Changed My Life When I started band, I was in the sixth grade, which was a year later than a lot of people in my band. Neither my parents or step–parents were in band, so they were hesitant to let me join. Once I was in Mr. Sacco's music class, and got to experience what his personality was like (super fun, caring, and spunky), and told my parents. I joined band immediately, or as soon as I could, sixth grade. Even though I was a year behind, my band director as well as the others in my section helped me a lot. Since the beginning of my band experience, I have made many close friendships and had a ton of amazing experiences that may not have happened if it weren't for band. Everyone always has the most fun on band related trips, from going to auditions, to going to Florida for a week. It has truly been an honor to be in the Ava Pride Band for the past seven years. • 34. Controversy Of Advertisement Argumentative Essay In today's society the only way to become a famous musician is to have good music that fans will like. One of the ways fans learn about an artist's new songs is through ads. A fan would be watching TV or listening to music on their smartphone, and an ad might pop up with their favorite artist's new song. The fan would most likely wonder what is was and download it. Artists should continue to allow their music to be placed in advertisements because it helps them earn money, and it can help them get recognized. First, using ads can help the artist earn more money. Some artists only make U.S. minimum wage for their music, so advertising and making corporate deals can really help. People resented the idea that an album they didn't ask for was forced on them, likening the album to "musical spam," and the reputations of both U2 and Apple were damaged." To conclude, signing off songs, albums, and making commercials can be a risk, there are way more benefits than cons.
