2. Firstly, I have realised that the main tab
links, are all in a similar order, with
news at the top, tour gigs second, then
images, videos which usually include
links to their YouTube channel, then
social media and finally the store. I
therefore need to make sure that the tabs
I include are in a similar order as this is
what the consumer expects.
3. Furthermore, although I don't
want the website to be confusing
for the consumer to navigate,
However it is essential that there
are constant links to purchase
albums, merchandise or tour
dates as this is the best way to
expand their fan base and grow as
a band in the market.
4. In addition, I want there to be images of the
band on the home page. This is because 'The
Perfect Fall' are entering the market, it is
important that they are able to become
recognised. However, because I want to
portray them as organic and indie, they will
not be the sole focus of the website. Therefore it
is important to find the balance of recognition
and portraying the band in an organic way.
5. It is also essential that the links to social media
are clear, because in the online age, there is
now a blurred barrier of communication
between the star and the audience. 'The Perfect
Fall' will be constantly on Twitter and
Facebook in order to grow their fan base and
create a deeper connection with their audience.
6. I have also realised that the artists websites
regularly link to the theme of their albums, and
therefore I may consider to either stick to the
theme of graffiti or as their image that pops up
on the front cover it can be shown in a similar
style to the image on the digipack while also
keeping the same fonts
