It features galleries of her photos and videos. 3) The 1975's website is integrated with Tumblr and features feeds from their social media. It has pages for images, videos, and merchandise but the images page is sparse.

3. PVRIS’ home page features a large banner displaying their members and advertising information for their debut album. The
website is integrated with Tumblr and subtle social media links are provided at the top of the home page. There is an eight page
link header displayed at the top of the website which offers various options to the fans in form of internal and external links. A
music player is also featured on the home page and every other internal page. The black and white colour scheme is synchronous
with PVRIS’ band image, genre, music videos and digipaks.

4. On the ‘Shows’ page, there is a list of PVRIS’ upcoming tour dates and their respective cities and venues. The site gives the
options to purchase tickets and informs the viewer whether a show is sold out or not. The band clearly aim to keep their fans
informed. The music player returns to the right hand side of the page and a link to access their musical back catalogue is
provided.

5. An entire page is dedicated to the contact information of PVRIS’ booking agents and management. We aim to include
Alleyways’ mailing list information on our ‘Contact’ page as opposed to this website. This will reduce the amount of page link
headers at the top of our official website. The banner featured on the home page follows onto the Contact page and all of the
other internal page links found on the page link header.

6. PVRIS’ website will serve as huge inspiration for Alleyways’ official website in its aesthetic and the various options for the
fans to grasp. However, due to their ‘new band’ nature, their website isn’t as full as it could be. We hope to provide a lot
more information and elements to our website despite Alleyways being an up-and-coming band. However, we do like
how stylish and sleek this website is and will attempt to mimic this in our own product. PVRIS’ website fits their band
image and musical genre conventions.

8. Charli XCX’s website is incredibly creative in its look. The URL directs the viewer to a simple screen that features a lollipop and
the invitation to display the website’s main home page. Once clicked, the lollipop cracks and the viewer is directed to the
home page which is filled with links to several different pages. The pink colour scheme and lollipop imagery relates to the
digipak of Charli’s upcoming sophomore album and those who enjoy the website will certainly appreciate the digipak – a
clever marketing technique.

9. Once clicked, Charli’s ‘Photos’ page displays a gallery of photos taken from her Instagram in order from most recent to least.
Seven page links also appear once an internal page link is accessed. Social media links are also displayed and the artist’s name in
a bold font.

10. Charli’s ‘Videos’ page features all music videos of hers released so far. We like this idea and will incorporate it into our own
website. Instead of searching through youtube to find particular videos, the viewer can find all videos released officially by the
artist on just one page.

11. Charli XCX’s website is very creative, fun and quirky. It fits her musical genre’s conventions and her own artist image. We are
inspired by her internal pages and will mimic some of them in our own final product. Despite Alleyways and Charli XCX’s
musical differences, we feel that elements of her website would look good on our own.

13. The 1975’s official website is integrated with Tumblr. The home page features a feed of all posts that the band post via their
social media outlets. Their website features a seven page link header and three widgets that allow the viewer to ‘like’ and
‘follow’ the band through Facebook, Twitter and Spotify. Similar to Charli XCX’s website, there are ‘Images’ and ‘Videos’ pages.
The ‘Store’ pages links to an external site and the ‘List’ page allows the consumer to join the band’s mailing list.

14. Unlike the abundance of content found on the rest of The 1975’s website, the ‘Images’ page only features two old photographs
of the band. This lets the site down as everything else is so pristine. It could be due to the band’s mysterious nature or a
statement that the focus should be on their music rather than the way they look but even so it doesn’t look too professional.
Therefore, when we construct our own website for Alleyways, we will fill our own ‘Photos’ page with lots of different photos of
the band.

15. We all love the look of The 1975’s website. Its aesthetic is similar to what will attempt to achieve in our website as well as our
digipak and music video.
