Turf toe is not only the misery of a professional athlete; but it can impact anyone, anywhere at any time – even you! You are at high risk for turf toe- if you spend a lot of time walking, or you’re a runner or avid exercise.
Chiropractors define turf toe as a big toe injury and it is hyperextended resulting in a sprain of the ligaments surrounding the big toe. Turf toe is a common condition among sportsmen involved in soccer, football, lacrosse, track, and gymnastics. Sportsmen and athletes experience common such as swelling, pain, inflammation, and the aforementioned hyperextension.
Sometimes, turf toes are confused with sand Toe that is a close relative of turf toe. The sand toe can prevent you from experiencing a full range of mobility as a result of repetitive movement in areas of sand from sports like running, beach volleyball, or even surfing. This may be considered a sprain of the metatarsophalangeal joint (MPJ).

Balance problems can make you feel dizzy, as if the room is spinning, unsteady, or lightheaded. You might feel as if the room is spinning or you're going to fall down. These feelings can happen whether you're lying down, sitting or standing.
Many body systems — including your muscles, bones, joints, eyes, the balance organ in the inner ear, nerves, heart and blood vessels — must work normally for you to have normal balance. When these systems aren't functioning well, you can experience balance problems.
Many medical conditions can cause balance problems. However, most balance problems result from issues in your balance organ in the inner ear (vestibular system).
LCPD or Perthes disease - idiopathic avascular necrosis of femoral head, characterized mainly in child age 4-7 years - with a feature of limping and pain in the hip or groin
Deformities observed with Pes cavus includes :
*clawing of the toes
*posterior hind foot deformity (described as an increased calcaneal angle)
*contracture of the plantar fascia
*cock-up deformity of the great toe

Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD), such as carpal tunnel syndrome, can be disabling, painful and costly. Incorporating appropriate ergonomics practices in the workplace can help to reduce the likelihood of these disorders from occurring and can greatly improve employee wellbeing and productivity.
What exactly is ergonomics and how can an ergonomically sound workstation be instituted? We address these questions in this report.

Ergonomics is concerned with the ‘¬ t’ between the user, equipment and their environments. It takes account of the user's capabilities and limitations in seeking to ensure that tasks, functions, information and the environment suit each user. To assess the ¬ t between a person and the used technology, we consider the job (activity) being done and the demands on the user; the equipment used (its size, shape, and how appropriate it is for the task), and the information used (how it is presented, accessed, and changed). Know about ergonomic environments in healthcare.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

Colebrook Bosson Saunders (CBS) was founded in 1990, drawing upon the
skills of architecture and product design to create new and innovative solutions
to the challenge of creating space and comfort when integrating technology
with furniture in the workplace. This unique approach led to unrivalled research
into workspace ergonomics and the development of products that have heavily
influenced how people sit and work with computers to this very day.
Over the years CBS have won countless awards for the
design and manufacture of ergonomic IT products including
Monitor Supports; CPU Holders; Laptop Stands; and Cable
Management Systems. Most commonly used for creating
healthy workspaces in the office, at home, or when
working on the move, CBS products facilitate safe
and healthy working for improved user well being
and productivity.
