The marketing campaign for Warm Bodies utilized various digital and traditional methods to promote the film to its target teenage audience. Word of mouth from the 2.7 million views of the trailer on YouTube helped spread awareness of the film. Television advertisements and posters were also used featuring similar imagery. Online efforts included a Facebook app allowing fans to customize their profiles with zombie photos as well as promotion through YouTube videos and ads. Multiple trailers were released in different lengths to provide varying degrees of storyline and character introductions. Merchandise like clothing and toys bearing the film's imagery helped further advertise it. Pre-release screenings for media helped generate early reviews and buzz.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
2. Word of mouth-
•warm bodies is at 2.7 million views on YouTube. a lot of
this views will be spread via word of mouth "this is when
spoken communication as a means of transmitting
information" and this would be how the word of the
warm bodies film would also be spread. People who
watched the trailer would then tell their friends at
college to check it out and make plans to see the film
hence the word of mouth and the amount of views that
was achieved on YouTube.
3. •TV/ Press-
Warm Bodies used the same trailer on Television as they
did when they posted their videos on YouTube. They
also used a range of posters much similar too the ones
online and available to buy but this time used them in
magazine advertisements and promotion at bus stops.
They made the film adverts on around mid day to aim
at teenagers who are more likely to view the trailer than
as if it was on at night.
4. Online and mobile-
•Part of the online marketing campaign Warm bodies set up a Facebook
App allowing the supporters of the film to customise their Facebook
pictures to turn them into zombies. This would therefore promote their film
to their target audience which happens to be teenagers who are most
likely to use social media. YouTube was also used to promote the film trailer
as it is a free site and reaches millions of viewers at a time who also seem
to be roughly the same target audience of a teenager as well was their
social media marketing. The YouTube homepage would also be used to
promote the film because anyone who opens YouTube will see the videos
on the homepage as well and the video will gain views drastically.
5. Poster-
•From the films marketing campaign there are loads of
promotional posters. they all revolve around the theme
of the Undead or love. This is an example of some of the
posters below. it shows the genre of the film as a
romance and potentially and comedy. Also a lot of the
posters don't have title of film "warmBodies" but instead
follows the same font and same style of posters to show
the link between them. The other poster shows some
Asian writing and shows the diversity of the film to
different countries across the globe.
6. Trailers-
•There are two trailers for this film. One of the trailers is longer
than the other and will therefore give a more detailed
storyline and introduce the characters more than the other
trailer. This will mean that the characters are explained better
through the narration in the trailer and gives us a basic
understanding of a beginning middle and end. We always
seem to have a montage at the end of the trailer to
showcase he action that will happen throughout the film. This
is a common factor both the trailer share. They also have
short cuts because they aren’t that long trailer wise.
7. •Merchandising-
There are many many different products made that are related to
the film. This includes bags, clothing, key rings and posters. This is just
it thee are also very many more products you can get such as toys
and dolls. They are sold mainly online but there are stores were
they can be purchased. These products will also advertise the film.
8. •Preview screenings/Premieres/•Editorial
content
Previews work by having a small amount of media workers
such as people from company's like BBC, SKY and Virgin
these people will then go to see the film earlier and along
with newspaper editors and film reviews will get the privilege.
They can then write reviews about the film before the release
so that people would develop a anticipation for the film and
therefore be more likely to see it. They would also show a
screening to see if they needed to change anything about
the film.
