Best Practices in Converting Instructor Led Training to Virtual Classroom ConentSaba Software
Many organizations are looking to leverage virtual classes as part of their blended learning offerings. While the key instructional design skills are the same, the tools and processes for developing virtual classes may be unfamiliar to content developers accustomed to developing ILTs and e-learning.
This presentation will cover the key differences in the design approach between the face-to-face classroom and virtual classroom. It will also provide insight into the virtual training development process, and highlight the key best practices we've observed across our customers.
Join this session to learn:
•What are the trade-offs between different modes of training
•How to effectively convert ILT content for virtual use
•How to leverage virtual tools to maximize engagement
•How to extend training through mobile and social learning
If you are new to virtual training and e-learning development, this session will give you a head start.
Building an Ambassador Program to Increase User Adoption & Expand your Bigges...Tony Cappaert
When we sell to enterprise customers, driving adoption and long-term user engagement is always a major focus. However, we found it was really hard to drive that adoption via webinars, email marketing, or phone calls alone.
In this session, we'll walk through how we've built our our Ambassador Program: an effort to equip power users to help nurture and grow our biggest accounts. By identifying and training a handful of Ambassadors in each enterprise, we increased adoption and revenue growth by over 10% in the first 60 days.
If you're looking for specific tactics on how to grow your top accounts in the next few months, this is the session for you!

This is the Keynote I delivered at the EXIN global conference on October 16th, 2014. The keynote addresses the 'lessons learned' of implementing the E-Competence Framework into the Pink Elephant organisation. As one of the pioneering companies that implements the E-CF into daily HR practice, we hope to provide other organisations with guidance and implementation advice.

Taking a ‘Trickle Up’ Approach to Chapter Engagement ProgramsBillhighway
Every organization wants to provide its chapters with the tools and programs it needs to create meaningful membership experiences. But each chapter is different and what sounds like a great idea from a national perspective might not always be a good fit at the local level.
Instead of taking a ‘trickle down’ approach to new programs, why not do the exact opposite and take a ‘trickle up’ approach: identify a program that has been successful at a local level and then expand it nationally. In this webinar, we’ll
· Look at ways to identify the best programs for consideration
· Discuss different approaches to driving programs at a national level
· Highlight best practices when expanding a chapter-level program
Ideas of non-conventional Agile HR practices that positively impact employee retention The creation and implementation of a safe and engaging work culture for Gen Y/Millennials Lessons learned from this transformational journey – what worked and what didn’t

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Let's dive deeper into the world of ODC! Ricardo Alves (OutSystems) will join us to tell all about the new Data Fabric. After that, Sezen de Bruijn (OutSystems) will get into the details on how to best design a sturdy architecture within ODC.
"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
