  • #13 Russ to cover
  • #14 Russ to cover Notes: Goal is not to dictate how a company implements training but to make it easier for companies to implement training so more people are trained and the skills gap is closed Workshop note: on what to do after people are assessed to sign people up for training to build synergies for training classes to have enough to provide the numbers to schedule Supplementing cost note: either through NAWDA paying some of the cost and/or incumbent worker grants Other talking points: -all assessed get a prescription if they don’t pass -member companies go over prescription and wage rate tied to where they are and then encourage them to get the training they need on their own to move up (provide with in house or Calhoun info for skills training) employer pays some and employee pays some -survey the membership to see how we can help the members move the needle on getting people more trained and then design a process to support this -incumbent worker training funds?? -measure of number of people in training – structure for getting info- goal -sub committee set up to govern this
