This document describes a voice recognition based wireless home automation system using an ARM-7 microcontroller. The system allows users to control lights, fans, air conditioners, security cameras and other devices through voice commands to the portable unit. The system is designed to be easy to install, configure, run and maintain for elderly and disabled users. It uses an ARM-7 microcontroller for data communication and voice recognition between connected devices in the home. The hardware components include an ARM development board, relay circuit, USB programmer and connecting wires. The system is programmed using embedded C on a KEIL IDE and can be applied in homes, industries and colleges to control appliances and machines through voice.
