Prior to January 1996 Mr. Harris’ experience was on Honeywell 6000 and IBM mainframe
computer systems.
From January 1994 to January 1996, Mr. Harris served as Task Leader, of the NMCS Automated Control Executive
(NACE) and Interim Message Automation Capability (IMAC) systems. Mr. Harris assisted in the coding of GMAP
and COBOL enhancements and maintenance to both systems. Mr. Harris assisted in the CAP Certification of
PCWAGES software, in support of the NACE/AUTODIN interface. Additional functions included technical
assistance to NACE and IMAC users, providing formal NACE and IMAC training for site-personnel, providing
training to site personnel in the usage of MDT/PCWAGES, and assisting in NACE and IMAC installations at
various other WWMCCS sites.
From January 1992 to December 1993, Mr. Harris was responsible for technical writing, and analysis, and coding on
the IMAC system, which is a Worldwide Military Command and Control System (WWMCCS) message generation
and distribution application. Specifically, he assisted in the conversion of the IMAC system from COBOL-68 to
COBOL-74. This conversion required migrating from the REDCOM forms mode to the EUCOM forms mode and
changing from the General File and Record Control (GFRC) Indexed Sequential Processor (ISP) file system to the
Unified File Access System (UFAS) file system.
From June 1991 to 1992, Mr. Harris was responsible for technical analysis and technical writing for the Program
Maintenance Manual for the Distributive Shares and Refund Subsystem for the Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) FHA Integrated System (A80). The programs are written in COBOL, use VSAM and
DB2/SQL databases and are run in batch or under CICS. Mr. Harris used WordPerfect to generate the manuals and
ENDEAVOR (under (TSO/SFP) to generate program listings.
As a Task Leader from December 1990-June 1991, Mr. Harris supervised a task on HUD's A43C system to enable
the A43C system to accommodate the revision of data items on the Form HUD-27011. He supervised the analysis,
design, development, test, and implementation of the revised Form HUD-27011.
As a Staff Programmer Analyst, Mr. Harris provided technical support on the WWMCCS Graphic Information
Presentation System (GIPSY) application. He modified existing GIPSY modules and routines and wrote GMAP
enhancements to support the new user interface.

  • 4. Prior to January 1996 Mr. Harris’ experience was on Honeywell 6000 and IBM mainframe computer systems. From January 1994 to January 1996, Mr. Harris served as Task Leader, of the NMCS Automated Control Executive (NACE) and Interim Message Automation Capability (IMAC) systems. Mr. Harris assisted in the coding of GMAP and COBOL enhancements and maintenance to both systems. Mr. Harris assisted in the CAP Certification of PCWAGES software, in support of the NACE/AUTODIN interface. Additional functions included technical assistance to NACE and IMAC users, providing formal NACE and IMAC training for site-personnel, providing training to site personnel in the usage of MDT/PCWAGES, and assisting in NACE and IMAC installations at various other WWMCCS sites. From January 1992 to December 1993, Mr. Harris was responsible for technical writing, and analysis, and coding on the IMAC system, which is a Worldwide Military Command and Control System (WWMCCS) message generation and distribution application. Specifically, he assisted in the conversion of the IMAC system from COBOL-68 to COBOL-74. This conversion required migrating from the REDCOM forms mode to the EUCOM forms mode and changing from the General File and Record Control (GFRC) Indexed Sequential Processor (ISP) file system to the Unified File Access System (UFAS) file system. From June 1991 to 1992, Mr. Harris was responsible for technical analysis and technical writing for the Program Maintenance Manual for the Distributive Shares and Refund Subsystem for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) FHA Integrated System (A80). The programs are written in COBOL, use VSAM and DB2/SQL databases and are run in batch or under CICS. Mr. Harris used WordPerfect to generate the manuals and ENDEAVOR (under (TSO/SFP) to generate program listings.
