This document discusses the creation of a print magazine targeted towards teenagers and above, particularly females. The magazine will focus on fashion and celebrity genres. It will include articles, photos, and advertisements. The purpose is to inform, educate, and entertain readers. Trial layouts were created and a final magazine design was reviewed. The review noted that the final cover stuck closely to the layout plan and used color well, though some colors could be changed. The double page spread had a good layout but could be improved with pull quotes and page numbers.

2. Print magazines
A print magazine is a printed publication that comes out regularly and
includes photographs and articles. There are electronic versions which
are similar to traditional magazines in that they publish periodically and
include stories, illustrations or photos, and usually advertisements
which are called digital.
Print magazines are more traditional which is one of the reasons why I
have chosen to produce this platform style. I have chosen this platform
because it is more interactive with the audience.

3. Purpose
• The purpose of this magazine is to communicate information and
news to all the audience. The magazine media is divided into 2 types
which are print and digital.
• The purpose of my magazine is to inform, educate and to entertain.
Hopefully this will satisfy the readers interests.
• The advantages of the magazine will to appeal a specific target
audience in groups.

4. TARGET AUDIENCE
• The target audience for the magazine which I am creating is
for teenagers and above. The gender I am focusing towards
is female. However, it may be towards male depending on
the individual.
• The genre which I am creating is a fashion and celebrity
mixed together. This will aim very well with my target
audience.

8. REVIEW OF FINAL MAGAZINE FRONT COVER
• With reviewing my magazine, I feel that the pros about it is that I
stuck very closely to my layout design and plan. Moreover, I also use
the colour scheme well. However, I would change the types of colours
I use and place them differently. This is because I feel like they are
clashing with images.
• I feel like I have publicized what I was aiming for. This includes the
genre and also the images used. The house style which I have used
sets the tone to very modern.

9. REVIEW OF FINAL MAGAZINE DOUBLE PAGE
SPREAD
• The pros of the double page spread would be the layout. I fell like it
isn’t too congested and focuses well with the front cover house style
which was modern.
• The thing which I would change would be to include pull quotes from
the text to make the article stand out more. I would also put page
numbers to link to the front cover which tells the page of the main
story.
