ABSTRACT: Although a significant amount of literature exists on Morocco's migration policies and their
successes and failures since their implementation in 2014, there is limited research on the integration of subSaharan African children into schools. This paperis part of a Ph.D. research project that aims to fill this gap. It
reports the main findings of a study conducted with migrant children enrolled in two public schools in Rabat,
Morocco, exploring how integration is defined by the children themselves and identifying the obstacles that they
have encountered thus far. The following paper uses an inductive approach and primarily focuses on the
relationships of children with their teachers and peers as a key aspect of integration for students with a migration
background. The study has led to several crucial findings. It emphasizes the significance of speaking Colloquial
Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and being part of a community for effective integration. Moreover, it reveals that the
use of Modern Standard Arabic as the language of instruction in schools is a source of frustration for students,
indicating the need for language policy reform. The study underlines the importanceof considering the
children‟s agency when being integrated into mainstream public schools.

ABSTRACT: In the Malaysian context, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) experience a significant
burden of workplace accidents. A consensus among scholars attributes a substantial portion of these incidents to
human factors, particularly unsafe behaviors. This study, conducted in Malaysia's northern region, specifically
targeted Safety and Health/Human Resource professionals within the manufacturing sector of SMEs. We
gathered a robust dataset comprising 107 responses through a meticulously designed self-administered
questionnaire. Employing advanced partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) techniques
with SmartPLS 3.2.9, we rigorously analyzed the data to scrutinize the intricate relationship between safety
behavior and safety performance. The research findings unequivocally underscore the palpable and
consequential impact of safety behavior variables, namely safety compliance and safety participation, on
improving safety performance indicators such as accidents, injuries, and property damages. These results
strongly validate research hypotheses. Consequently, this study highlights the pivotal significance of cultivating
safety behavior among employees, particularly in resource-constrained SME settings, as an essential step toward
enhancing workplace safety performance.

1. Evaluation
For my campaign I created 3 products: a poster, a video and a social media account. I
created the posters because it is a good way to get the word out about blackberries
patisserie. This is because they can either be printed and stuck around the local areas or
through people’s doors, or they can be released on the social media platform which may
entice people to share, comment and like the page and the post. The towns surrounding the
business are all small. However, they all get busy. Therefore, I decided to make a copy of
500 posters and distribute them to all the shops which people will be known to walk by. I
think 500 is a suitable number as then you are guaranteed to not be short for any shops.
Also this means spares will be available after all of this meaning they can either be in the
shop for people to pick up or to be dropped through locals doors. I thought the second idea
which is a video would be a good idea mainly because it could be released on many
platforms not just one. This is similar idea to the posters. For example, the video could be
used on social media pages, as an advert on games/apps and videos and it could also be on
YouTube. Therefore, it is spreading the message of the business on multiple platforms with
one idea. This is beneficial as social media is one of the platforms and with both the posters
and video also getting released on there, will reach more people. This is because not just
young people use the Instagram platforms, adults are also addicted to the trends also, so
this will be reaching towards a larger audience. The social media account, which is my third
idea, has photos and videos uploaded which shows the target audience looking at the page
to show them what it is all about. Since doing this 2 week prior to now, at least 100 new
people are following the page per week. Also the videos are reaching and being viewed by
1,000+ people compared to before with only hundreds. The page has increased the
audience of the business also which has increased the amount of business which the
company are creating, also this effects the foot fall coming into the store increasing by at
least 100 per week, which increases the money amount which is created. This may allow for
more marketing campaigns such as sponsored posts on the social media platforms so it
reaches much more audience driving the business to more success.
Response to the posters
The posters were a really big help to promote the business of blackberries patisserie. A
week after them being in shop windows and posted through some people’s doors, an effect
started to show. This is because people were coming in the shop saying they seen it
advertised in the town. They have all been purchasing products and coming back for more.
Once coming back, they were raving on saying how good everything is and that they are
now following the social media page. With this, they have been telling all their family and
friends about the company and that is getting around reaching a wider audience. “they can
be used at any time in between the other platforms”. “I would have a general poster as well
instead of it focusing on one thing or advertising that one thing. Overall would be good too”.
I think this feedback is helpful as I know which posters would like to be created next. An
overall poster would be a good idea as I feel like it could be used for multiple things not just
on the platforms. Also this could be used for door dropping.
Response to the Instagram page
2. I released the Instagram page first as I know this will reach to a much higher audience than
the other two marketing promotions. Moreover, I posted this first because there is a better
opportunity with this. This is because I released the posters and the video onto the social
media page with links to the YouTube page which had a disclaimer that more contents will
be getting released soon. The page regularly gets used. This is by posts everyday getting
published. This shows how active the page is to continue to reach out to people. Many of
the public how come into the shop say they either follow the page or are going to. The page
is a good marketing strategy. This is because on the Instagram page, you have a option to be
able to message the page which means they can order products through this also. On the
page the address is also on there for people who may follow the page by liking the look of it
but not actually visited before. The client expresses her happiness of the Instagram page
saying it is “perfect fit for the customers to view the business as we all messaging in case
they cant get to the shop to talk face to face”. This feedback is exactly what the social media
page was set out to do. It is easy to do for the client and the client will easily be able to
manage it. “I will be able to reach more not just people in my area”. The Instagram page will
be able to get a ‘hype’ on Instagram page allowing more followers making the page and
business more popular.
Response to video
Before I released the video, I got someone to proof watch it to give feedback. The person
thought it was a great video as It showed the products, reviews and also objects seen
around the shop, such as the chalk board and the led light box which was the clip which
finished the video. The background music which featured was commented as ‘up to date
and happy and bouncy’. This is a good thing as it makes it something what someone’s mood
might change after watching it. the video was published on YouTube with the link in the bio
of the Instagram page for people to click on to watch. Also the video got shared on the
social media page which got it out more for people not knowing that it was on YouTube.
I released the Instagram page first because I just thought it was a great idea because these
days everyone has a smart phone and has social media. I wish I used other social media sites
such as Facebook and Twitter to try and widen my target audience. I also thought it was a
good idea to release this first is because I wanted the younger generation to notice more
than the adults, so the younger generation can talk about it in school. I then released a
poster because I thought once I had the younger generations attention I wanted older
people to notice the company. This was done as more of the older generations go to the
local towns more than the younger. Also because the older generation notice shop window
ads more than any one else, they also then gossip with there family about what they have
seen. Moreover, I released these onto the social media page which was the first release.
Finally, I created a video which I released on YouTube and the Instagram page.
