In December of 2007 to February of 2008, Kenya experienced ethnic violence triggered by a disputed
presidential election held on 27 December 2007, over 1000 individuals were killed and 600,000 were
displaced during post election violence. The opponent s supporters of the new president, protested
saying that he had won due to election manipulation, the countries citizens went on a violent rampage
killing Kikuyus, the country s largest ethnic group. This is significant to global health because more
than half a million people were displaced from their villages, homes and their way of life, getting
uprooted due to violence especially those on Antiretroviral therapy for HIV which depends on
continuous access to medications during those months was impossible. The main topics I will talk

The lead, up to the 2007 elections, the two main parties that were fighting for government were the

infantry to hold the area. Within a little over a year of the first attack of Czechoslovakia, the Nazis
were able to conquer all of europe using this tactic. The problem with this is that it is not very

participated. There are things that I could have done to make the activity more challenging for the

students payed attention to when I was speaking at the beginning and the end of the activity, which
was ideal for any lesson.
2. What were the strengths about the presentation (lesson and/or teaching) and why?
The strengths of the lesson in my opinion was the fact that the students could play a game while also
participating with consonant blends and consonant digraphs. Even though throwing buttons into a cup
is fun and the lesson involved competition, it still made the students think about consonant digraphs
and consonant blends. I also think that it helped the students realize how many words are made with

A young person dying for any reason is a tragedy, so when a teenager takes his or her own life due to
frustrations, hopelessness, or loss of self worth, it is completely devastating. Young people today are
having to grow up in a world with high stress levels, confusion, discouragement, and pain; sometimes
it is just too hard for them to handle. Perhaps it is not surprising that teenage suicide is becoming
increasingly more common. Suicide has become the third leading causing of death in adolescents
today. All around the world teenagers are attempting to take, or successfully taking, their own lives for
many reasons, including forms of content on the Internet. A story published in The Ledger written by
Stephanie Allie demonstrates how this, unfortunately, happened to be true for 12 year old, Rebecca
Sedwick. On the morning of September 9th, 2013, instead of getting on the school bus, Rebecca
walked to an abandoned cement plant. The 12 year old climbed to the top of a silo and jumped off,
killing herself instantly. Later, Rebecca s mother, Traci, told police that her daughter had been bullied
by a group of middle school girls. Further investigation showed that for over a year, Rebecca received
hateful text messages and Facebook posts from these girls, harassing, taunting, and humiliating her.
Some of the messages went as far as telling Rebecca to endure bodily harm, and that she did not
deserve to live. The girls treated Rebecca horribly all because she started dating someone

Cinderpelt Personal Response
I m now on the last book of, The New Prophecy so far it s a great book! Squirrelflight and
Brambleclaw realize they really did love each other! I felt like I was going to explode if they had one
more fight! What brought them together was a fight against the beaver s! When that beaver kill
Cinderpelt I was bawling my eyes out. Though Cinderpelt s death was terribly sad, I think Cinderpelt
was an awesome character and the Erin s didn t have to kill her off. The cats in the book said she was
a very young cat. Cinderpelt was so kind but I feel like she didn t have to snap at Leafpool in the fifth
book. That s one of the reasons Leafpool went away from her clan, when Leafpool ran to the
Moonpool and Spottedleaf told her to follow her heart
