Vertical air conditioning systems use vertical vents on the floor to direct cool air in areas that lack walls or ceilings. These omnidirectional vents can be turned in any direction. A package air conditioning system keeps all components like the condenser, compressor, and blower in a single unit. It draws in fresh air, cools it through condenser coils, and pushes the air through vents via the blower. At a cinema mall in Vadodara, vertical vents were placed at the entrance on the ground floor, getting air from the basement through 2-meter high vents above human height with blowers above. Package AC and ducting were also used to pass cool air to the theater space.

• Vertical Air Conditioning System is a form of
central air conditioning system consisting
mainly vertical vents that direct cool air from
the floor itself.
• It is used where floor requires cool air but
there is a lack of walls and/or ceiling is too
high.
• These vents are omnidirectional because they
can be turned in any direction.
