1. INTRODUCTION FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT
Our proposed project is to enhances the power of IoT by streamlining the oldest
parking system and embedding it with the latest innovations in electronic
sensors & computers, allowing the user to make a reservation parking slot with
the help of mobile from a remote location application with low-cost IR sensors,
Atmega microcontroller, e-parking mobile, real-time data collection application
with the integration of QR code technologies.
2. NEED FOR INTERNET OF THINGS

Internet of Things (IoT) enables the connection between the Internet and
the surrounding objects, making those objects easily accessible from any
remote location. Effective application of IoT technology is one of the features
that make human life easier.
3. PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED IN THE EXISTING
METHOD
Manual mode of Registration in olden days which makes the
process complicated, also payment makes more delay.
Reservation and VIP area allocation is not available for public
parking which makes it slightly uncomfortable for accessing
There is no security for our vehicle, and so it can easily causes
damages or get theft, which leads it into a problematic
situation.
4. OBJECTIVE – PROPOSED WORK
Our proposed project is to implement a QR Code (Quick
Response) technology for Quick Registration and Secure
Authentication for car parking with time selection option and
thermal printer to get receipt of cost and all the details are
uploaded to server through IoT communication.
