VBINE ENERGY is a company that develops vertical axis wind turbines (VAWTs) called Vbines. The Vbine turbine was originally intended for use on factory smokestacks but is now focused on the communication tower market. Key advantages of the Vbine include its ability to accommodate wires and equipment through the center, stationary highest point for mounting additional equipment, and low RPMs which reduce vibration, noise and potential for interference. Study of Permanent Magnent Synchronous Macnine
With respect of designing a PMSG, the permanent magnetic pole lies on the rotor and armature winding are in the inner part of stator that is electrically connected to the load. Armature winding consists of the set of three conductors which has phase difference 120 derg apart to each other and providing a uniform force or torque on the generator’s rotor. To operate PMGS, it is connected to wind turbine through a shaft without gear box and rotate at slow speed. This uniform torque produced by the resultant magnetic flux which induces current in the armature winding. The stator magnetic field combined spatially with rotor magnetic flux and rotates as the same speed of the rotor. So the two magnetic fields synchronously rotate in PGSM to maintain the relative motion of rotor and stator.
Thus the permanent magnets rotates at constant speed without any DC excitation system, which means it has not required any slip rings and contact brushes to make it more reliability or efficient.
Synchronous machines
Synchronous machines have two sets of windings - a three-phase armature winding on the stationary stator and a DC field winding on the rotating rotor. The rotor can have either a salient pole or cylindrical structure. Large generators use brushless excitation systems to avoid maintenance issues associated with slip rings and brushes. Excitation is provided by a small AC generator (brushless exciter) mounted on the stator whose output is rectified to supply DC current to the main field winding. Proper cooling is required to dissipate heat generated in the windings.

Talos is an innovative wind energy solution supplier and uses original innovative technologies to reduce the cost of clean power.
Talos had a long story in China before 2019. The project was invested totally more than $5million for R&D in China since 2005. I closed my assembly wind turbine factory of China at end of 2018 when my EB-1A visa was approved on March 2, 2018. Talos is planning to move the wind turbine assembly factory from China to US. The factory and HQ could settle down any city. The turbine cost won't be increased. Because, Talos doesn't needs many assemblers and requires bigger space for installation.
Talos sells four types products including three original innovative products(future will be five types) and provide aftermarket service.
1. Different specifications VAWT which installed more than 3000 units in 60 countries since 2007. Talos VAWT is the only one that met the commercial standard in the world
2. Super Turbine. Its power generation cost is very low. It can replace most of traditional wind turbine in short future.
3. Air-water turbine. It is used in compressed air storage energy industry as peak shaving. Its cost is less than 1/10 of gas turbine. It will replace gas turbine.
4. Windship power package. It is a wind-ship propulsion system using sails to driving the ship when the ship is driving. It will become a large vertical wind turbine to power generation when the ship stop in a port. Not only its efficiency is higher much than U type sail and rotor sail, but also can power generation when the ship stop in a port.
5. Wave power generation device (future). It uses the waves of Sea to power generation
Talos is applying some grant from SBIR of NSF and once won SBIR of NSF(19-554). Talos will take off very soon.

TYPMAR presented a proposal for a hybrid wind and solar street light system. They proposed installing their Maglev wind turbines combined with solar panels on street lights to provide a green energy solution for powering public lighting. Wind energy
Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy. There are two main types of wind turbines: horizontal axis wind turbines (HAWT) and vertical axis wind turbines (VAWT). HAWTs have taller towers for access to stronger winds and are more efficient than VAWTs, but also have higher costs. VAWTs have lower construction costs, can operate in lower wind speeds, and do not need to be pointed at the wind. Both turbine types have advantages and disadvantages for efficiency, costs, and environmental impacts. Overall, wind energy provides clean, renewable power but also faces challenges from noise, aesthetics, and competition with conventional energy sources.
