Statistics show many are addicted to mobile phones and social media. While technology provides connections, it can also isolate people and reduce real-life interactions. Families interact less face-to-face now, and outdoor activities are declining as digital options increase. Too much technology use can replace interpersonal relationships and an active social life with a confined, solitary digital experience. It is important to use technology in moderation instead of becoming addicted.
