Then-The communication was from one person
to another. Direct one on one communication.
Now-With the things we have now
communication is all about getting things out to
mass amount of people.
Next- Communication will be more interactive
with people.
4. Uses and Gratifications
This about how people use technolgy and media for
their one personal gain and gratification.
Affective- More about emotions and a sense of
pleasure.
Tension Free Needs-How stress is relieve this way
Social Integrative Needs- Socialization plays more a
key role here.
Personal Integrative Needs-Promoting and obtaining
self efficacy or self-esteem.
5. Examples in the Future
Video Games- They will take the whole first
person experience into real life. You weel have
all you sense work in the game
Phones- There would probably be more of a
watch type and the big phone of our time will be
gone.
Television-It would be all interactive and maybe
hologram technology
6. Social Learning Theory
This theory is all about modeling others.
Observing things you see on television or what
others do. Adding what others do and
incorporating them into you life.
7. Examples in the Future
This type of learning is the most effective.
Smaller children with be more efficient with
devices (phones, tablets, computers)
They see their parents always using them so
they learn faster on how to use them
8. Media System
Dependency
The more an individual uses media, the more
dependent they will become to it.
Something that was meant to help, could also
can cause hindrance and destruction
9. Examples in the future
At the rate things are going, spoken language
will become obsolete.
Everything can be done on our phones
Texting is a more preferred way a
communicating than talking
Phones are slowly taking over our lives
