The CSC process uses focus groups to develop indicators, score services, and suggest improvements to help make education services more accountable and responsive to the community.

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is a systematic review of the health and wellbeing needs of Lincolnshire's population. It identifies priorities and informs the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy. Local voluntary and community sector (VCS) organizations can influence the JSNA process by identifying needs, gaps in services, and effective interventions. They can also facilitate engagement with underrepresented community groups. The VCS plays an important role in shaping local health priorities and future service planning through the JSNA.

1) In 2014, Ukraine reformed its administrative services by creating Citizen Administrative Services Providers (CASPs) at the city and district levels to provide basic public services. While CASPs improved access, only 5% of citizens positively rated service quality in 2014.
2) The project supported CSOs to monitor CASPs through seed grants, trainings, and documenting best practices. It also assessed e-governance in 100 cities. Lessons showed a need for quality standards, ICT use, and awareness.
3) Plans for 2015 include advocating for real service transfers to CASPs, enhancing CASP and CSO capacities, supporting quality policies, and nurturing cooperation between CASPs and CSO
Social Accountability for Improved Community Health Shanklin

Citizens First by Center for the Greater Good
Citizens First Housing provides social services to communities based on an inside-out approach. They assess each community's unique needs through a thorough needs assessment conducted by a community coordinator. The coordinator identifies demographics, existing facilities, and problems. This information is shared with residents through technology to get their informed feedback via surveys and meetings. Residents' anonymous feedback ensures input from the normally silent majority. The coordinator then works with Citizens First and foundations to create an integrated social services plan tailored to the community's needs. Progress is tracked through indicators and the program is adjusted if goals are not being met by providing more resources, changing programs, or selecting new service providers.
Goal setting & performance measurement training
This document outlines a workshop on goal setting and performance measurement for city departments. It begins with an introduction and overview of the process. Citywide goals are set by the mayor and council to reflect strategic priorities and are tracked by the city manager. Power Grid Model
The global energy transition is placing new and unprecedented demands on Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Alongside upgrades to grid capacity, processes such as digitization, capacity optimization, and congestion management are becoming vital for delivering reliable services.
Power Grid Model is an open source project from Linux Foundation Energy and provides a calculation engine that is increasingly essential for DSOs. It offers a standards-based foundation enabling real-time power systems analysis, simulations of electrical power grids, and sophisticated what-if analysis. In addition, it enables in-depth studies and analysis of the electrical power grid’s behavior and performance. This comprehensive model incorporates essential factors such as power generation capacity, electrical losses, voltage levels, power flows, and system stability.
Power Grid Model is currently being applied in a wide variety of use cases, including grid planning, expansion, reliability, and congestion studies. It can also help in analyzing the impact of renewable energy integration, assessing the effects of disturbances or faults, and developing strategies for grid control and optimization.

Using the community score card (csc)
- 1. Using the Citizen Score Card (CSC) to Promote Governance in Bombo
- 2. What is CSC? A Community Score Card is a qualitative monitoring tool that is used for local level monitoring and performance evaluation of services, projects and even government administrative units by the communities themselves. The community scorecard in the context of water and sanitation is very useful in tracking the level of water and sanitation delivery by the service providers.
- 3. Why the CSC? For the service user (e.g. the community): The Scorecard helps service users to give systematic and constructive feedback to service providers about their performance For the service provider (e.g. government agencies/institutions): The Scorecard helps government institutions to learn directly from communities about what aspects of their services and programmes are working well and what is not.
- 4. How was the CSC conducted in Bombo? 8 village parishes were selected to take part in the assessment. An awareness campaign to inform people about the purpose and benefits of the CSC was conducted. Groups of people within the parishes to facilitate the implementation of the CSC process, such as traditional leaders, NGO staff, and officials of local governments were selected.
- 5. Community Score Card Community members were convened into focus groups. Each group asked to identify performance/quality indicators for the public service in question. Groups score each indicator and give reasons for the scores. Groups develop their own suggestions on how to improve the service, based on the performance criteria they have identified.
- 6. Interface meeting Held a brainstorming session with service providers including the management and the staff to develop self-evaluation indicators. service providers asked to score each indicator and give reasons for the scores. Convene an interface meeting between community and service provider Aided by the facilitators, each focus group presents its scores. Reasons for scores are discussed. Service providers react and give feedback. All participants discuss and potentially agree possible solutions.
- 9. Development of score card
