interests
 Most of us belong to more than one community,
whether we’re aware of it or not

 The term “development” often carries an
assumption of growth and expansion
 But “development” may not always mean growth, it
always imply change
Community Development
 A process where community members come together
to take collective action and generate solutions to
common problems.
 Community wellbeing often evolves from this type of
collective action being taken at a grassroots level.
